We approached the menu family-style, sampling a range of biryanis: fried chicken, chicken tikka, butter chicken, and gutti vankaya. Across the table, every dish found its audience. The rice itself was a standout—long-grained, aromatic, and perfectly cooked, carrying spice and sauce without turning heavy or muddled.
Heat levels were handled with care. For the most spice-intolerant among us, one or two dishes pushed the limit, while the rest of us found ourselves wishing we had leaned further into the heat. That balance spoke to a kitchen confident enough to honor tradition, yet willing to adapt to its guests.
What impressed most was the authenticity of flavor. For friends with roots in India, the dishes carried a sense of home, a quiet but powerful endorsement. The spices were layered and expressive rather than blunt, allowing each biryani to maintain its own identity.
Portions were generous—bordering on abundant—and prices remained very reasonable, reinforcing the sense that this is a place built for return visits rather than rare indulgence. It is honest, hearty food meant to be shared.
Crossroads Biryani may not announce itself loudly, but it does not need to. Its strength lies in what arrives at the table: warmth, depth, and a generosity of both flavor and spirit. I would return happily.
My rating: ★★★★☆
1 star — I will never return.
2 stars — If nearby, I might return, but without urgency.
3 stars — Worth a visit if in the area, though not a destination in itself.
4 stars — Worth going out of your way to enjoy.
5 stars — I would fly around the world for this meal.
I came here mainly for their special Chicken Kodi Vepudu, and it did not disappoint. They’ve kept the same amazing taste for years – totally ultimate! My only small feedback would be that the masala could stick a bit more to the chicken, but the flavor itself is excellent. The Special Chicken Biryani was truly authentic – full of spice, rich flavor, and every bite just makes you fall in love with it. I’d also recommend pairing your meal with a Mexican Coca-Cola – it goes perfectly with the dishes.
They give only disposable plates and cups.
Veg starter was not good and the person who took the order was kind enough to take it off the list
I really enjoy going to a restaurant and knowing my food wasn’t under a heat lamp, and here the food is delicious and cooked properly, so if there’s a wait, it’s worth it.
