One thing specifically I want to note about this menu is this restaurant does not rely as heavily on sauces or wet rolls as some of the more popular ones. This place focuses on the flavors of the ingredients, so you will have more opportunity to taste the fish and toppings.
The potstickers were super crunchy & tasty with a robust center, a style I have come to prefer.

the best sushi place in folsom!! i love other spots but i always come back here. (yami yami and hasu and fantastic rolls are goated.) i’ve seen them thru different owners and stages, and love them always.

The Lotus and Folsom roll was so good. I actually ordered from here by an accident but was pleasantly surprised. Those two rolls tasted so good! The prices also were pretty reasonable. I never thought to eat here because it looked kind of generic but I live close by but happy I ordered from here by an accident.

Dropped by here for lunch yesterday when I was in the area and I’m glad I did! I grabbed the lunch special (bento box) with sesame chicken and the Fantastic roll. It was a lot of food! The sesame chicken with their sauce was the star of the show, it was really good. The roll was solid, though prefer a more standard sushi roll with fish. I understand the need for cost savings on a lunch special like this so I will have to come back soon to try a real roll.
The restaurant was very clean, the service was very friendly and super fast. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Wish it was closer to the side of Folsom we live at. The sushi is always really amazing and the prices are very reasonable as well. I stopped going to some sushi places because the started charging exorbitant prices. But hats off to the Hasu team for standing out. You have our loyalty.

Clean and good food. Lunch special bento is a good amount of food and comes with a whole sushi roll. Fantastic roll (spicy tuna) it was very good. Chicken teriyaki was average. Rice was cooked very well.

One of the best dragon rolls I’ve had! So soft and creamy and delicious.
I ordered one piece each of salmon nigiri and shiro maguro, and they were both very soft, good quality, not too cold, and the rice was perfect too. Good wasabi and ginger.
Miso soup is hot, and not too salty!
Sashimi combination has decent tuna, with rich yellowtail (hamachi) and more delicious salmon. The radish strips are nice too!
I will definitely be coming here again when I’m in the area.

My sushi was very average but oh man my girlfriend’s chicken teriyaki was the worst I have ever encountered. To help you imagine think of those little grilled chicken strips you can buy frozen made by Tyson but then you accidentally left them in the microwave for an hour and then had to drizzle some teriyaki sauce on. If you didn’t have sauce you wouldn’t be able to swallow them. You gotta fix that chicken teriyaki it’s a disgrace to Japanese cuisine XD they also were unaware of our order when I showed up they seemed confused and had to redo it. See another comment about the same issue. Look elsewhere for your teriyaki fix.
