Swingline has been on my “to visit” list for quite some time. My wife and I visited today and it was decent. Dishes ordered:
Wife – chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, coleslaw, and fried pickles appetizer.
Me – turkey dinner with double mashed potatoes and gravy.
The Bad:
-The kid running food today was moving without even the slightest level of enthusiasm and had that typical teen look we are accustomed to of “I would rather be anywhere else but here”. It was hard to not notice.
-My wife loves sweet potato fries and she did not care for these. She didn’t like the sugar (and maybe cinnamon?) that they appeared to be tossed in.
The Okay:
-The turkey dinner with double mashed potatoes and gravy were edible, but not good enough to get again.
-Chicken tenders – edible but not memorable.
The Good:
-The fried pickle appetizer was fantastic.
-Coleslaw was very good.
-Waitress was a little shy, but was attentive and kind without overdoing it.
-Decent portion sizes.
-Nice dining area. Tastefully decorated and tables are nicely spaced out. Lots of natural light. Not too loud.
Though our food was mostly average they have several other menu items we are interested in trying (fish and chips, pulled pork, brisket sandwich). Swingline has a lot going for it. We just haven’t found that dish yet that is crave worthy. We’ll be back for round two and will update review accordingly.

This Cuban was literally the dryest deli sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Mostly bread and flavorful but incredibly thin. The sweet potato fries were great however and a huge twist on the average variety but the service was slow and dull. Loved the set-up and the ambience though. Bar looks great but it’s entirely too early for myself. Hindsight, I probably would’ve gone somewhere else but it wasn’t the worst option for lunch.

Happened to notice this place when driving by and looked it up online. Decided to try it later that day because the weather was nice and they have a rooftop and outdoor area. I had a refreshing Hugo spritz and the apple cranberry salad with chicken. It was so good I could eat it every day. Also tried the fried pickles which didn’t disappoint. My husband had the brisket sandwich and fires and he said he would order again. I tried some of his fries which were well seasoned and cooked just right. Friendly service, will definitely return!

Good food and a nice atmosphere. If you have been to Ramsey’s Trailside, the menu here is very similar as they are owned by the same people. We started with the pretzel as an appetizer and had the reuben and brisket sandwiches for our meals. All of the food was delicious and prices were very reasonable. The restaurant was incredibly busy with large groups, but our server still did a great job.

Great atmosphere! I ordered the taco salad. I asked for steak on it. There was 4 little slices on it. Wish there was more. Salad was great though. Husband ordered brisket sandwich. He said it was really good, but he wished he ordered the onion straws on the side. They were under cooked. Over all food was great! Service was slow. We’ll be back

This is a sister restaurant to the one on Loveland bike trail. It’s comfortable, great outdoor seating, great menu selections, and value that’s fantastic for the area and ambiance. Don’t miss this!!!

Absolutely amazing food! I came once, now twice and I don’t think I’ll stop coming back. First off the food is great, staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond. Very accommodating too!

First time at Swingline and it’s great! Couldn’t put menu down. Had couple craft beers and their in house veggie burger, awesome! Got a rooftop bar area I want to check out next visit….which will be soon!
