This place is sooo good and the chicken, fish and hush puppies are the best. Their vinegar sauce just adds the perfect touch to everything. Their French fries are very good as well and the Cheese Curds are wonderful. The rootbeer is extremely good as well. The drive through was very fast and they were very friendly. I would definitely reccomend this place for a quick stop sit down or just going through the drive through. They are celebrating 100 years in business so you have to be good to stay around that long so I know you will not regret going there.

Went here on 2-12-25 and the service here is absolute garbage. The drive through lady had an attitude while I ordered. She wouldn’t let me complete a sentence without interrupting. Then got an attitude when I asked for the burger to be made without vegetables on it. She left the intercom on so I was able to here her talk crap to her coworker on how I asked for my food to be made. Had to wait in the front for them to complete the order. When they finally gave it to me it wasn’t good at all. The fries were cold and the burger tasted like it was saved from days ago. I will not be coming back to this place. Wish I would have gotten her name.

I would have love to have tried the food but after 30 min at the speaker with not even a greeting or a response to any of my several hellos. I went to taco bueno and had my food in my car in 5 min. But thanks for creating a fight with my toddler who had his heart set on mini corn dogs….

I am In horror at my experience with A&W Restaurant in Mesquite,TX. I can barely type this review as I am now incredibly sick from the food.
I ordered an A1 combo to-go (Plus two entrées) inside the restaurant. The floor felt like suction cups, tables were dirty, fries on the ground, the bathroom smelled like no one had touched it in weeks. The wait for the food was 30 minutes. It seemed liked the main focus was drive-thru, instead of the customers in front of them. Another red flag was none of the workers had gloves. Not one. Not. One.
All of the workers were touching the door that led into the kitchen, walking past the employee sink. The sink was dry as a bone, with the soap dispenser at full capacity. The signs that i failed to pick up on in the restaurant are now clear, now that I’ve had the chance to throw up. After standing at the counter for a while, a worker finally told me, “We’re just waiting on fries”. 30 minutes for fries?
I am very ill and want my money back.

Got my order completely wrong I ask for mustard pickles and tomatoes and got onions lettuce and mayonnaise mf just made the burgers how he like em not how I order them

This Long John Silver’s is actually an A&W/Long John’s combo, and I couldn’t be happier! The food is delicious, if not a little bit on the greasy side. You get to mix and match from both menus, too, but the combo’s don’t always work that way and you have pay a little bit more. The restaurant is clean, the parking lot spacious, and it’s never too busy. Overall, a really good place to stop and grab something for lunch.

2* only because the food its self was ok, it took a long time to get our order, they were out of items so they had to refund part of the order. It was so hot in there we were sweating while just sitting at the table. The drink machine had no ice and you had to ask for it at the counter. They barely filled the cup half way. Then the drinks were warm which melted the ice that was in the cup, I tried to take a drink and it was horrible warm flat soda. We spoke to the lady at the counter about it and she said yeah it’s probably messed up and no one tried to fix it. Besides that our meals were very good.

I didn’t have any issues with the food. However, each time that I go to this location I end up sitting in the drive thru line for at least 15-20 minutes. The older gentleman that works the drive thru is friendly, but he doesn’t get in a hurry at all and the evening staff is way too slow. You won’t want your food by the time you finally get to drive away from the drive thru. Unfortunately, this location does not know the meaning of FAST FOOD.
