I’ve been a fan of A&W my whole life, but only go when it’s convenient. Today I was passing by right at lunch time and decided to stop in. There was virtually no customers inside or at the drive thru.
I’m a member of the A&W Mug Club so I had a coupon and even though they didn’t couldn’t scan the code they still honored the deal which was very kind of them.
The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food turned out great, exactly as ordered.
My only disappointment was that the “made fresh daily” A&W rootbeer didn’t come from a tap of its own, and didn’t really seem like it was “made fresh,” but rather the typical bag-in-a-box style of soft drink like any others.
Overall the restaurant was clean and maintained and there was ample parking outside.

If you’re going to go, go for the root beer floats. The food is regular fast food, with quality and selection on par with most places. The service was friendly, but they messed our order up twice, entirely forgetting my entree, and only putting one patty on my wife’s double cheeseburger, as well as forgetting her “no cheese, no pickles” instructions. But, as I said, the root beer float was great, so I’ll probably go back, when I only want the root beer

The KFC fried chicken tasted awesome. I recommend both their chicken and their hamburgers (had a yummy Papa Burger single last week.) They have improved their QC or just their cooking methods from years past. And the guy who took my order gave good suggestions then, and followed up later to make sure I was satisfied.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Went through the drive-thru on March 10, 2024 at about 3:30om. Order taker/cashier was rude while taking my order. After arriving at the window, she asked me to pull forward to wait for my order, which I did. Meanwhile THREE vehicles behind me were also asked to pull over and wait. All three received their orders before me. My order was fairly small so I thought that was a bit odd. After waiting patiently for TWENTY MINUTES, I noticed there had been no cars at the window for several minutes, so I put my car in reverse and backed up to the window. Imagine my surprise to see my two drinks sitting right there, MELTING IN THE SUN. The same cashier was right there, and I barely got the out the words “I’ve been waiting 20 minutes” when she handed me the drinks and my bag of food, which had been clearly sitting there for some time (she had NOT been waiting for food to finish cooking). Then she had the sheer audacity to say “I got you” like she was doing me a favor and giving me great service! UNBELIEVABLE! And even though she had read my order back to me correctly when I placed it, it was wrong… so I have to assume she is not only incredibly rude but also incompetent. This person needs to be fired. Completely unacceptable treatment. PS: I was polite to her through the whole process so there was NO EXCUSE for her behavior.

THE HADLOCKS
This store has the worst customer service!! I waited for 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. The workers were just talking to each other. I felt like i was interrupting them to get help. I waited for almost 20 minutes. Then, when I finally got my order, some of it wasn’t in the bag. They had to cook more chicken. I ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for my order. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Won’t be back to the 90th south location!! Manager was no help either.

My hotdog was overcooked and the bun was stale. On top of that I had to wait for about ten minutes before receiving my drive thru order. They didn’t provide utensils with the order even though we ordered food that necessitates utensils. Root beer was amazing though, as always.

We ordered a root beer freeze. Waited 15 minutes. When at window we were told to move forward and when we finally received it, we mentioned it was mostly root beer and asked the worker to put in more ice Cream in it since we weren’t going to bother with a freeze & would settle for a float at that point and she said the owner said you would have to buy another freeze. He wouldn’t replace a faulty product.
