Everything Ive had here is soo good! The Arepas are packed with filling. Black beans and plaintains have so much flavor. Food is always hot and freshly made

Salsa Rosada has become part of our Christmas tradition. Every year we cater from them, and the food is consistently incredible. The flavors are rich, authentic, and full of heart—true Puerto Rican comfort food that brings everyone together. Everything is always fresh, well-prepared, and a hit with the whole family. I truly can’t imagine our holiday without Salsa Rosada. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Puerto Rican food done right.

This is a great spot to stop for some quality food. They have a great menu with many options, which was awesome!

Here’s what we ordered: Tostones Rellenos, Pernil Bowl, Shredded Beef Cachapa, Black Beans & Rice, and Aguapanela.

Dinner was about $25 per person before tax and tip. I feel like we definitely left full and satisfied after trying this great restaurant.

Also, for those with gluten allergies, you can eat here with confidence.

Excellent place to go in midtown when you want great food with no wait. Good quality, no frills food. Basics done well. The ambiance is fast casual.

At the beggining was a little confusing cause we did not realize that we should order at the counter. We ordered so many plates and everything was delicious! The plates were bigger than we thought. So much bigger. The arepas were fantastic! The space is very cool.

Wow!! So happy to have this place in the STL! We had reserved a table for 13 for a bday celebration. Even though you order your food at the counter and wait at the table for your food, the service was excellent! They were still very attentive to our table. Food was amazing. Lots of flavor! Love all the sauces available and the little aji jars. They played some good salsa music. Restaurant is spacious and clean. Highly recommend!

The food served here is of good quality. The service provided was average. We ordered their special dish, Kan Kan Chuleta. The pork belly was crispy and delicious, although it was a bit pricey, but it was worth the experience. When we visited, it was not a full-service restaurant; you had to order from the cashier, seat yourself, and the food would be delivered to your table. I would not mind returning to try other items on the menu.

Omg I totally loved this place!! First of all, love seeing an AUTHENTIC Venezuelan restaurant in St. Louis. Staff speaks Spanish and English – so fantastic to see the representation reflected in the staff. I was looking for a quick snack and they delivered. I ordered the empanada in the vegan style and it was so rich, delicious, and crispy. When my order was brought out, the chef even told me “hey I know there is no ticket on your item but I can assure you it is vegan and there is a vegan sauce in there as well.” En total, muy rico y deliciosas – gracias salsa rosada!!

We ordered the Ground Beef/Potato Empanada. NOT homemade, but rather canned corn beef hash stuffed in the dough. NOT flaky; NOT crispy! Taste like commercial frozen food. St. Louis natives may not know foreign food, but we definitely know authentic Venezuelan food! Pissed off that these people would take short cuts and the nerve to charge expensive prices! UPDATE: It’s very clear from the pic that the inside of that empanada is corn beef hash, that is NOT authentic cooking. Why is it pink inside?
