We just had a very disappointing experience at DQ. The person taking our order had to repeat things multiple times—it wasn’t clear whether she couldn’t hear us or if the system they’re using is just outdated. After placing our order at the drive-thru, we were asked to pull into a parking spot to wait. The wait itself was only about 3 minutes, which wasn’t bad, but when we got our food, my husband’s order was missing entirely.
The quality of the food was also subpar. What was supposed to be cheese curds looked more like a greasy clump of cheese. The chicken strip box was missing the gravy, the tenders were noticeably smaller than usual, and the fries were soggy and overly greasy. I posted a picture to show the size difference. Everything tasted like it had been cooked in old oil.
Unfortunately, this was the worst DQ experience we’ve ever had.

So ridiculously hit or miss here. Yesterday i got a chili cheese dog that was perfect, and super hot. Today, theyre barely warm, half my cheese curds are hard, and my slushy is half melted as theyre handing it to me, IN A CLEAR CUP, like you cant see that thing is melted? In all the years ive ordered the misty, i have NEVER had a melted one handed to me. They hardly acknowledge their customers to even say have a good day, and seemed really annoyed when i asked for a side of ranch. Super disappointing because its the easiest place for me to stop for food quickly if i had a long work day (12+ hours). Such a shame.

Best place in town to get a blizzard hands down The ice cream is always amazing here Love their ice cream cakes for birthdays and special occasions. The restaurants are a little dated but that is to be expected. No one comes here for the atmosphere they come here for the ice cream. The chicken strip basket is pretty good not a big fan of the rest of the food but definitely would highly recommend the blizzards

Drive-up order was WORST EVER from any fast food restaurant we’ve been to …
Cicero DQ overcharged us as we received less food than we ordered!!!!! Also, large milkshake was runny, not thick!! We won’t be back!!!!! Not first time this has happened at this location!!! Manager (owner???) Is NOT customer friendly … we’ll take our business elsewhere from now on…. Mgmnt should take classes on how to run a successful business… shame on you!!!!

Went there 30 min before close and was told most of the menu was off-limits due to shutting down the grill getting ready to close.
They let me order a chicken strip basket.
The chicken and fries were clearly old and they just reheated in the frier ot maybe the microwave.

Can be hit and miss on meal quality. Today a miss. Chilli cheese dogs were pretty bad. Dog rubbery, chili sauce was weird, like burnt. Chicken strip basket was ok.

Immediately from the moment of walking in with my husband and 2 kids I felt as if we were intruding and bothering the employees. I ordered our food and was met with a distracted worker who couldn’t pay attention to what I was saying. I told the cashier 3 times what it was that we wanted. Distracted by the cell phone and other employees.
Brought our food out with no drinks and no fries. Was brought our cups and told when I inquired about our fries that they were in the box. The sandwich box mind you. Then was told that they were coming. So we sat while the teenage employees played around and threw food at each other. Brought the fries out and yes they were warm, but they were the equivalent of a kids fry from McDonald’s. They forgot the extra gravy that I paid for that was for my kids meals. Both sandwich orders were wrong. Not sure how that was managed. Floors and tables were gross. We will never be back to this location again.

Ignored every request made on our order, paid 50$ to not get anything made correctly. Didn’t get a receipt either. Plain, is pretty simple. But you load everything o to the sandwiches and then don’t give me the 10$ burger I order. Terrible.
