I used to come here often since I was a kid, recently moved closer and decided to try it again. They didn’t have empanadas de carne. Prices were blacked out. Eventually got home to try everything and the quality was not worth the ridiculous price. No empandada should be 5 dollars, nor should a Malta cost damn near 4 dollar. I think they went through an unnecessary rebrand… just to charge more for or less quality product. It’s a shame because I actually liked them. If they respond to this I hope it’s to take notes and ask what older clients would like to see.
$4.17 for pollo
$5.79 for 3 pastelitos de guayaba
$3.42 for a Malta
$6.5% service fee
Total $14.49
I paid cash but I chose not to tip because they’re not familiar with the new system and overcharged.

I called yesterday to ask about some party trays for croquetas and was told I only had to call 15 minutes in advance to ensure they are available or ensure they can fry them up. Today I called and spoke with a different lady that said they had plenty of trays available and I informed them the puckup was for half an hour. When my girlfriend arrived there were no croquetas available because they sold out. My girlfriend didn’t have time to wait so she took two trays of pastelitos which didn’t look fresh at all. To top it all off my girlfriend asked why they didn’t want to take an order over the phone and all three servers denied having spoken to me over the phone. Only making matters worse and increasing tension they did not have the courtesy to bag the pastelitos and tried to charge her for a party buffet instead of just for two trays of pastelitos. Ultimately long story short terrible service and terrible quality. I will pick Pinecrest bakery over them every time.

This is the worst bakery I have ever been to. I ordered a cake for my boyfriends 25th birthday with the most iconic spongebob episode “do you know what’s funnier then 24, 25”. I had sent these picture of this design to the baker in charge at the time and he said he could do it. Of course I did not think otherwise because from the reviews on here shows they can do complicated designs. So why is it that when I came to pick it up today that the order didn’t even look close to what I had ordered. I would’ve understood if someone had tried to reach me at some point to say that they had lost the image I had PERSONALLY sent to the baker but I had not received any call. They put no effort into this cake, they even made the fondant of spongebob not facing the side with my boyfriends name on it. Also the cake was supposed to be chocolate with dulce de leche moose filling, but the filling was the incorrect flavor. Over all this is the worst place to go and I will never come back and I recommend people to go somewhere else. (And I placed this order 3weeks ago)

The finger foods were good but their medianoche was a joke, and it wasn’t inexpensive. The sandwhich only had two super thin slices of pork and no pickles! The amount of ham and cheese was acceptable but I wanted a medianoche not a ham and cheese sandwhich into which a bit of pork was dropped on accident. I ate it, but I’m still craving a real medianoche.

What a great find! Friendly bi-lingual staff (Spanish-English) Good food and portions. We ordered Cuban Mix Sandwiches…they were huge and very fresh and tasty. Also purchased 2 boxes of pastries as a thank you gift.

I won’t ever know if their food is any good. My mom just wanted two pastelitos while she waits at her doctors office. Which came out to $2.00 they wouldn’t allow me to buy them for her because there’s a five dollar minimum purchase with debit card to the owners/managers no one CARRIES CASH in 2021n you weren’t going to make me buy more stuff than I wanted

I ordered a scrambled egg sandwich through DoorDash and there was a hard piece of plastic in my sandwich I almost choked on. Absolutely disgusting. Do not order from this company clearly there’s quality control issues.
