Had a great pig-out here. Loved the mole, tender chicken. Good tacos and torta. Good chips and salsa. I ate all this myself, I don’t suggest you do the same.

Stopped by this restaurant on a whim after visiting Roger Dunn, wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The space felt inviting, to my delight, we were welcomed with complimentary starter chips and salsa that were scrumptious! The chips were perfectly crisp, and we enjoyed both the spicy and mild salsas—they were packed with flavor and set a great tone for our meal.
We arrived around noon, and I was pleased to see a variety of everyday specials, including enticing lunch deals. I decided to try the two hard-shelled tacos paired with a shredded beef burrito, while my partner opted for the lunch special flautas. The presentation was appealing, and I could see that care was taken in the dish assembly.
However, there was a significant downside: the food itself lacked seasoning. Despite the vibrant ingredients and potential for flavor, the dishes tasted rather bland, which was disappointing and unfortunately brought my rating down by a star. A dash of spice or seasoning would elevate these dishes to match the ambiance and overall quality of the service, which, I must say, was excellent!
Our server was attentive and friendly, making our dining experience pleasant. I’m definitely looking forward to returning and giving this place another shot!

My wife and I have been coming here occasionally for over a decade. It’s not a fancy place, but it offers comforting, homespun flavors that feel like they come from old family recipes. Prices and portions are reasonable, the atmosphere is clean and casual, and the service has always been polite and accommodating. A solid choice for a consistently good meal without the extra frills.

Fresh seafood, and traditional Mexican style homemade dishes can be found here. Hearty Breakfast plates, lunch and dinner.

They have an outdoor tent setup that is perfect for evening summer dinning.

Servers are on it, always making sure you have what’s needed.

They also have a vast selection of Mexican and Domestic Beers.

It was a nice restaurant but hard to park in this restaurant. The food was made really fast but it wasn’t very tasty. The tortillas weren’t warm they were cold. Other than that it was a nice restaurant I didn’t like that they let people come inside and sing to the customers eating because most of us don’t carry cash to tip them. Also the steak was very chewy not tasty. Also you kind of feel like the seats are to close to each other

Food was delicious and the Special they were having was crazy amazing…$20 you get a side salad or soup, 3 choices (burrito, enchilada, taquitos, tacos, etc) with rice and beans. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! The customer service was great and I’m so glad we gave this little restaurant a chance. If you’re in the area your should definitely give it a go.

BEWARE
* Not All You Can Eat ❗

Food A+
Cost $$
Service Good to Bad
Employees No masks

* They use the all you can eat flyer which states pick three items.

❗ What it does not say is that’s all you can eat.

So customers that are used to all you can eat. Beware.

Delicious authentic Mexican food.

Servers no longer wear masks.

Very clean facility, restrooms well maintained, plenty of parking and visible from street but in corner of home depot mall.

Ambiance is relaxed and enjoyable, and for the most part quiet.

Most employees super wonderful but one time their credit card machine was down and they didn’t make that obvious or well enough known and an unprofessional employee began to argue and mock elderly couple, fortunately they had enough cash but shame on you casa jimenez for hiring and keeping employees with such poor public relations skills.

very disgusting memory. shame shame shame , not exactly what I want to say but I want to keep this post professional.

Casa Jimenez was so good! The chips and salsa were a perfect beginning to a great meal!! The Abondigas Soup was served in a large bowl and was hot and yummy…full of meatballs and fresh vegetables. Today we had the Chili Rellenos and they were delicious! Casa Jimenez also has really good breakfast specials like pancakes and eggs for a very low price!

I came here on a Friday to try the menudo, and honestly, it was just mediocre. I’m not sure if it was freshly made that day or a warmed-up batch, but it didn’t stand out. The beans and salsa were the highlight, but the flautas were so drenched in oil they were nearly inedible.

Service was friendly and attentive, but I did notice that the staff seemed to be all men, which felt unusual compared to most restaurants.

Overall, I wasn’t impressed with the food and won’t be returning. There are much better options elsewhere
