I really like the ramen at this place. It’s pretty close to the real thing. The prices are not too bad and the service great. The decorations keep you amused and the sign up wall was only half full when kid and I signed it.
Plenty of parking!

Sakai ramen was delicious! The broth wasn’t too overpowering, noodles were chewy and I love that the toppings included chicken as well as pork. There is a small cost to make it spicy and I’ll try it next time. The fried calamari was surprisingly good too. Not too oily or overfried. The lychee and passionfruit tea were refreshing. Excellent service and food! My son and I had an enjoyable lunch…highly recommended!

I’m glad we try this new opening, and I have a feeling it will be our to go Ramen place. The food are delicious, the soup is very tasty and not salty at all. Noodles have golden chewy texture which is perfect. Dumplings are crispy and juicy. The service also very good, attentive and politely. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their items.

This is our go-to ramen spot near the house. My 3-year-old son loves coming here, and my wife does too—it’s one of our favorite places for a casual night out dinner. Most of the dishes are really good, though you can tell when a different chef is working. Overall, it’s still a solid spot. The only downside is that it’s a bit of a walk to get to, but it’s worth it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this place. The service was amazing, and the food was better. I didn’t think I liked ramen from previous experiences (with the broth tasting watery) but this place has so much flavor it has simply made me picky. Their fried rice was also probably the best I’ve had. I’m from MI and and I need this place closer to home!

Really great ramen, good noodle texture and great umami broth. The shoyu was excellent, tender juicy and very flavorful. I had the Sakai Ramen, which was great but next time I go I will definitely get the shoyu ramen.

My husband and I went to have lunch in this restaurant on our last day visiting New York (we stayed in a hotel nearby). What a great experience!
This was one of the best ramens I’d ever tried, and the appetizer (calamari) was delicious too, as well as the iced tea. Finally, the portions were adequate and not huge, like in many other places in and around New York.
The lady who served the food was very nice and sweet, and the service was attentive, but not imposing.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s staying or lives in the area!

Went for the first time. We ordered two different ramen but seemed like the only real difference was the egg… that was a bit confusing. Must say both had a very good taste, the meat was juicy and soft. Broth was very flavorful as well. Service was quick. About a 8 to 10 mins wait for the food so not bad at all. Service can be a bit more friendly, not saying at all they were rude but the place was pretty much empty and the person brought us the check without us requesting it or finishing so I thought that was a bit out of place. That would be to improve. Place is super nice well decorated, worth the visit!
