As a Birmingham native, I already had my own go-to wing spot like most people do.
But once I found out that Exotic Wings & Things were halal, I had to give them a try, and they instantly earned a spot at the top of my list. I ordered the 10-piece wing combo, half Nashville hot and half jerk chicken. Personally, I had never tried that combination before, but it completely changed my perspective. The flavors complemented each other perfectly. Paired with the Cajun ranch fries, which were clearly cooked fresh and seasoned just right, the entire meal was on point.

I love coming here. Nashville hot with cajun ranch fries is my favorite order. Service is always great employees they’re very friendly and patient. The establishment is always very clean inside and out. 10/10 give them a try it’s worth it

Today I’m giving you guys 1 STARS . My call in order turned to a 25 minute wait. On top of that you gave people that was after me their food first and made me wait 5 minutes later to get my order when my food was on the counter sitting there for 5 minutes. The short guy with the horseshoe in the middle of his head zero stars for you I felt like he was cussing me in a different language. Young guy in the front gets one and a half stars

I was on the way home and wanted a salad, I thought about another restaurant but, saw Exotic Wings and thought let’s support a small business. I am so glad I did. The salad was delicious, huge, and had plenty of veggies and chicken. Shout out to Stacey and Tim for making it a great experience. Good food and a great value.

Exotic Wings has potential, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. The guy working at the front was very rude and unprofessional. Someone in that position should be more empathetic, friendly, and approachable. Customer service is everything, and his attitude really took away from the visit. I hope they work on improving this in the future.

I definitely am a fair consumer since I work in FOOD service myself! The young man taking my order DEFINITELY was so busy rushing me there was an immediate total given, before I was even complete. Also, I ordered a 50 piece another meal a dessert and a drink, so you would imagine my hands were quite full walking out. He did not mention that the flavors would be mixed together on my chicken. I was given 4 ranch for 50 wings and 3 tenders. I arrive home with a family of 5 ready to chow down, Imagine my disappointment to find that the sauces were mixed together! Now some people may like their chicken like that, but my family does not! I IMMEDIATELY called when I opened the chicken and was greeted by one man who transferred to another , but first told me management wasn’t available. Then, the young man said ma’am we have cameras that are constantly recording you never said half and half. He proceeded to say ma’am I’m sorry your chicken is not correct but I can’t do anything because you didn’t check it before you left! How was I gonna check with no hands and 6 items and a drink! I DEFINITELY WAS KIND AND POLITE WHEN I CALLED AND WAS MET WITH NASTINESS AND RUDENESS! I never asked for my money back which I should have since they blatantly chose my meal for me, all I asked for was the replacement of my chicken the way it was ordered! FURTHERMORE, when I was ordering I asked for all drums and said I would pay extra for the inconvenience and was told no because they didn’t have 50 drums to sell me. He then stated he told me the sauces would be mixed, WHICH IS A FLAT OUT LIE! I would have told him then, not to do it! I will DEFINITELY BE CALLING BACK IN THE MORNING to see if cooler heads can prevail, but my first opinion of this place is DON’T RETURN BECAUSE THEY CHOOSE WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO EAT, IF ITS NOT CORRECT, o well it’s your problem we already have your money.

I’m undecided if I wanna go there again. Not the most sanitary place – there was pile of trash next to the counter wall, the kitchen didn’t look clean, everything looked sloppy. Since I was already there, I decided to order just wings (garlic parmesan and lemon pepper). I didn’t have any expectations.
But surprisingly, the wings were good. The seasoning was on the spot. Loved it. So, I am not sure if I wanna go again- the sanitation says no, the wings says yes. ♂️

I love this place everything so good place so clean friendly staff specially that tall cashier the food was so amazing and the food was cooked perfectly love it. I ordered Bbq lemon pepper with Cajun ranch fries.
