UPDATE 01/06/2026
We arrived at your store at 6:22pm for a 6:30 mobile pick up. At 6:31pm a less than pleasant individual named Nathan Informed me he was bagging ours up and it was on the way! At 6:50 I finally went in to retrieve our food, bartender (polite) checks the bag, and says waiting on a potato, she informs the kitchen she needs a potato for our order that was being bagged up 20 minutes ago. Now 30 minutes late we get home to our 12oz medium rare steak that is BURNT TO A CRISP AND COLD!!! (2 things that don’t usually go together) I asked Nathan why he lied about our food and his response was “we’re just busy” which he repeated 4 times with a smug smirk on his face. Here is your short version, long version currently being submitted to corporate. Why is it ALWAYS an issue at this location. We’ve have 1 good pick up order experience since this location opened…
Original review-
We do take out from here frequently, our last experience was pretty interesting though, as on the tracker our order was marked completed, I waited 10 minutes after finally walking in and waiting a lady grabs the bags that have been sitting, goes to walk out I asked if that was for Dustin, she said yes, (it’s been 16 minutes since the order was marked complete now). I asked why it was marked completed so long ago, the response was because “I wasn’t done preparing them”? And she stormed off.
Ok, then why mark it completed, that makes no sense. UNLESS, you’re timed on performance and are cheating the system…
We waited a full 30 minutes just for two margaritas. That should have been the first red flag, but it only got worse from there.
Out of four Caesar salads ordered, two never arrived. Not a word of apology, not a comp, nothing—just forgotten.
Then the steaks: two of the four were served severely undercooked. One was supposed to be medium for my brother’s pregnant wife—bright red, cold in the center, and borderline raw. Serving raw meat to a pregnant woman is not just bad service, it’s legitimately dangerous. Completely inexcusable.
We had to call the manager, Joel Jandog, to the table not once, but twice. Both times he was dismissive, offered zero solutions, no comps, no real apology—just excuses and attitude. Zero accountability and zero sense of urgency. Our bill was over 200 dollars. If this is the kind of “leadership” Longhorn puts in charge, it explains everything.
Slow, incompetent, forgetful, and dangerously careless with food safety. Joel Jandog and this location failed on every possible level. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else. We won’t be back. Ever.
The manager himself had to recook my pregnant wife’s steak 3 times and by the third time we were just ready to leave. Pregnant women are not suppose to eat any par cooked meat.
Joel handing the manager can’t cook a steak and he even said to me that the steak looked medium well when it’s bleeding out on the plate.
Waitress was nice
My party of four inevitably sat at the table waiting, rather than eating. Margs for my brother and I took 30 minutes and waited an hour for all the steaks to be remade.
Absolutely terrible experience for a 200$ meal.
Joel, the manager, is buns at his job.
How does a steakhouse manager mess up a steak dude?
Joel is buns at his job. The waitress was cool
Food was inevitably comped down to 160$ after tip for the inconvenience but my want to go to this restaurant has vanished like the managers ability to cook.
I ordered their 22oz porterhouse steak with the plans to eat the tenderloin and take the new York strip side home for my husband. I also ordered their crispy brussel sprouts and lobster bisque as my soup choice rather than salad.
Let me say that the lobster bisque was one of the best I’ve had locally. I will definitely go back for that soup.
The Brussels sprouts was good, but I’ve had better. It OK. just ok. I think that next time I will order one of the potatoes.
What was disappointing was my steak. The menue said thick. It was one of the thinnest porterhouse cuts that I’ve ever had. Because of its “thickness” it was not as medium pink as ordered. It was more medium well done. I did not find any center pink. I even asked if their medium was more rare or well. With the waiter touting their thickness leaning towards more red for mediums, I ordered medium. With the crowd, waiter was busy and not very attentive. My friend next to me got the toughest yet very thick sirloin. It was so thick that I thought it was a filet. With her order having to go back and taking so long to get a new steak, I kept mine with disappointment. The taste was a bit on the salty side, but I think that had the steak been thicker, the seasoning may have been right. With all of the disappointment and Order mistake commotions, I even forgot to take pictures.
So, for steak… I’ll go to Texas Roadhouse or one of the other higher end steakhouses.
