A true hidden gem EASILY one of the best pizza spots around!
From the first bite, I knew this place was something special. The pizza is absolutely amazing — you can taste the freshness in every ingredient. The crust has that perfect golden crisp on the outside and soft, chewy goodness inside. The sauce is rich and flavorful, and the cheese melts just right — not too greasy, not too heavy, just perfect.
The customer service here is top-notch. The owner genuinely puts his passion into every pizza ..super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience. It’s rare to find that kind of passion and pride these days.
This place might be tucked away, but once you find it, you’ll never forget it. A true hidden gem that deserves way more recognition. If you haven’t tried it yet do yourself a favor and go. You’ll thank me later!
The place was super clean! And the owner kept cleaning between orders. To me was a plussss!! I’m super pickie when it come to pizza. And I will drive if I have to. And I will drive again for this place!!

Where do I start ! The customer service was top tier. Very friendly welcoming upon my arrival. They are tucked in the back of the development so if you’re not looking you’ll miss them. The pizza was hand made to order. The pizza is delicious! I’m a crust girl and the crust was light and buttery, just right for a pizza. Sauce is delicious, just the right amount of cheese and pepperonis. The owner was there and said they’ve been in business 40 years, I definitely can tell. I pray they are bless with a multitude of business !

I just moved to neighborhood and am lucky to have this place so close.
Being from the northeast I’m a pizza snob and this pizza is better then most places in the north!
I also had steak and cheese sub.. everything was amazing, fresh toasted bread, fresh steak cheese with fresh veggies.. amazing!

I’ve ordered pizza and wings from here twice. Their New York style pizza is excellent. Some of the best I’ve tried in Fort Lauderdale and their wings are gigantic. Offers a great value. I’ve tried several pizza places in the neighborhood and this is my favorite.

I ordered Sassano’s 12 inch chicken parm sub. I was sooo so disappointed in my order that all I thought of doing was to write this review. I ordered this thru uber eats. Second pic shows how it was packed exactly how I removed it from its “sustainable” package. No copy of receipt. Sandwich bread was visible outside of its aluminum wrap. This is how i received it from an Uber driver, AKA a stranger! First pic, chicken parm sandwhich consisted of fried chicken fingers with a little bit of sauce and mozzarella, as you can see. This is not a chicken parm sandwich. Chicken was salty btw. I had no choice but to throw it out. With a name like Sassano, you’d they they would know better!

As one of the co-administrators at the school, this is by far the best pizza within 3. Mi or less. This is a newer location, not that much of a move because the old location was literally right next door. Door. Overall the pizza is phenomenal. Not too oily too, not too overcooked. I typically get the lunch, special, two slices and a soda and that will tie you over until dinner. This is literally a small joint, there’s a few seats to sit down and eat. The husband and wife are are a great duo and they make you feel welcome. If you want quality Pizza, Sassano’s is thee spot!

So, last night’s delivery took 1 hour & 15 minutes, we’re not even 5 minutes away. Driver says if we wanted it quicker that we should have gone to pick it up. Are you kidding me?!? Who says that to a customer? Lucky I didn’t answer the door for that conversation.
The pizza tasted like the oven hasn’t been cleaned & maybe 3 pieces of ham on a ham & pineapple pie.
If you want quality pizza & service, go west a little to Pete’s-a-Place, you won’t be disappointed!

This place is legit. A true New York slice. If I lived in New York I could walk to the subway with it.. perfect crust they know what well-done means. Anyone who says this pizza isn’t good doesn’t know what pizza is.
