My bad customer service experience:
I ordered a Honey Citrus Mint Tea and received a Chai tea, so I called to pickup the correct order. Instead of applying this easy fix, the employee I spoke to, told me:
“We had to give you a defense tea because we sold out, but we have it now.” (This made zero sense because how could they be sold out of something then have it 10 minutes later?)
I reiterated saying that I was given a Chai tea and if I could pick up my correct order which she replied to by saying:
“Well there are a lot of orders under your name this morning you picked up the wrong one.”
I told the employee that the label had my exact order and she told me she could not hear me and hung up. (See images)
While yes, I do like Starbucks coffee there are also many other competing coffee brands that are as good. Relationships with consumers matter and that is why Starbucks is loosing my business and another brand is gaining it.

We went in to get coffees. Wanted to use the restroom before we order to wash up and use the facilities. They insisted it was only for customers. I explained we are customers. We would like to use the restroom first. They insisted that we order and pay for our coffee before. They would let us use the bathroom, absolutely ridiculous and rude. I will never come back to this location again

Whose responsibility to place the orders in the bags? Baristas or customers?. I this morning at 12:40pm ordered 5 orders and at the waiting, I asked a barista nicely Can you please help me to place the orders in the bag?. She replied You do it yourself, I’m busy (with strong face). And I asked Can anyone else help? She said everyone is busy…. At the time, it was not busy but the same young girl barista was rude. To a large degree, Starbucks is a luxury commodity. I expect a consist baseline in terms of products and experiences.
This cozy store served brewed coffee that is always brewed fresh for each customer using a new machine that I had not seen before. More importantly, the lady who took my order was exceptional. She was able to automatically make suggestions to best fit my needs before I had realized all of my options. We have shopped at this Starbucks twice and the service was pleasant and quick on both occasions.
There isn’t much indoor seating, but the outdoor seating was comfortable and allowed us to sit with our dog.

Long lines during periods when students are in town, but very friendly and professional staff. They are warm and caring and stay cool even when rude customers expect instant service or are offended by having to wait in line. Consistent quality and warmth from kind staff, who learn the names of regulars and give their full attention to each order.
