Absolutely DUMMY good Omakase. My partner and I are in absolute shock / angry that dinner was over.

The staff were very kind and attentive.
The Uni was delectable and sweet.
The Sapporo was clean and crisp.
Each item of the Omakase topped the next.

An absolute gem of a place. We will be back

I had the immense pleasure of dining at Idashi for an omakase experience, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for what would become one of the most memorable meals of my life.

The chef was an absolute master of their craft—each dish was a testament to their artistry and skill. Every bite felt like a harmonious blend of flavors, textures, and perfectly balanced ingredients. The freshness of the seafood was unparalleled, and the precision with which the dishes were prepared was awe-inspiring. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an immersive journey through Japanese culinary tradition, with a modern twist that left me completely captivated.

But what truly elevated this experience beyond the food was the service. The team was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, offering insight into each dish while also creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. They were genuinely passionate about the food and their craft, and it showed in every interaction. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of the evening was perfect.

It’s rare that you get a dining experience where everything aligns so seamlessly—the ambiance, the food, and the service were all exceptional. The chef’s attention to detail and the service team’s care made this an unforgettable evening that I would recommend to anyone looking for a truly special dining experience.

If you’re looking for a meal that transcends just food and becomes an experience in itself, look no further than Idashi. They truly set the bar for excellence in omakase dining. I can’t wait to return!

Idashi is my favorite Omakase place in Brooklyn (and thus the neighborhood) and is one of my favorite places in NYC. The quality is exceptional, it’s an incredible value, and the pieces are creative and delicious. I’ve been here a few times, and each time was unique. It’s a great balance of fish quality, sauces without being overpowering, and additions that compliment the fish. Looking forward to my next visit!

We came here for our anniversary. The food was very delicious and served in a timely matter. The staff was very attentive and kind. The BYOB was awesome as well and we brought our own sake.

Would definitely go again when visiting Brooklyn!

Absolutely phenomenal omakase experience, well worth the price for the $99 16-course omakase which was so delicious! Highly recommend this! The quality of fish was excellent. We also came on a Sunday evening for a birthday and had a baby and they accommodated us in a very family-friendly manner! The chefs and waiter were incredibly warm and attentive throughout.

Idashi is one of the best restaurants in the city and hands down the best sushi spot. I’ve been coming to Idashi since it opened and every experience at the restaurant has been better than the last. However this time, Idashi knocked it out of the park by catering a party for me. The sushi traveled perfectly and it was a total hit. Thank you chef Ellis! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

If I can give out 6 stars for the food I would definitely do it!! I have been to quite a few omakase sushi places before but I have to say the quality and taste here are at a whole new level. Especially the toro, kobe beef and uni. These are remarkably more noticeably delicious than other regular sushi shops. In addition I ordered the caviar bomb and you would eat it on your hand, quite interesting. Price wise is decent and the atmosphere is authentic.
