I used to come here quite a bit when I was younger and now that I had an opportunity to go back – I think it went down in quality. It doesn’t feel quite fresh and just overall, the experience wasn’t too good.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and had a nice experience. The food was solid overall, and the sushi was definitely the highlight. Next time I’ll probably just stick with that. I ordered the beef teriyaki and beef negimaki, both of which were super tasty and came with generous portions. The service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming staff. I also liked that the sushi kitchen is out in the seating area, so you can watch them make your food. The only downside was the egg rolls and shrimp tempura, which were clearly frozen, but everything else was great.

Decent sushi. Stopped for a quick lunch and everything came out well. Server was very kind. There was a 30 second repeating loop of a song playing the entire time that drove me nearly insane, otherwise it was a nice lunch.

Very good service and presentation of food. The ramen and dragonball roll were one of our favorites. The sashimi and yellowtail were fresh as well.

The veggie rolls I ordered were a bit strange. They smelled and tasted like fish?

We tried a variety of items off the menu including soup/salad, rock shrimp, cold fish appetizers, a variety of rolls, hot entree, and sushi. All the fish we tasted was well selected, fresh, and expertly prepared. Every bite was amazing!
Honestly the special rolls we tried which were the Manhattan Roll and Angel Fish roll blew me away. They were super flavorfully and didn’t feel overstuffed with rice. Wow.
The simple fish slices topped with fish roe and other things were must tries for the future for me. On top.of it all the restaurant is BYOB so I was able to have my delicious meal along with a bottle of wine that I brought with me. There’s also a liquor store nearby if someone would want to run over to pick something up.
The rock shrimp and beef teriyaki were not my favorite but I would certainly recommend everything else! I’d definitely give this restaurant a thumbs up and recommend to other to give this restaurant a try whenever in the Millburn area!

Good deal for lunch special from Monday to Saturday, most choices are $14 to $16 with salad and miso soup. The sushi are fresh. However, the waitress there are quite rude. I saw some reviews complaining about that, and today I experienced myself…hope the owner/manager can take the reviews seriously and can train the staff with better client service.

Nice little Japanese restaurant in downtown Millburn serving the freshest sushi and sashimi I ever tasted! Lunch menu was a bargain and I was very full and satisfied! Will definitely come back here again!

The food is really good, and the busser provided excellent service. Unfortunately, I’ve been there twice and had the same waitress both times, and her attitude was very negative. It ruins the overall experience and, honestly, feels like it’s hurting the business. It’s disappointing, because I would definitely come back if not for that.
