This is an upscale restaurant. Dress is casual. The service is very good. Each table had three very polite servers. The presentation of the food was excellent and each course was delicious. It might be a little hard to find as it is on the second floor on the north side of the casino opposite the hotel entrance.

The food here is really good, and the service was fantastic. The prime rib is delicious, I just missed that it didn’t have an exterior crust to it. I assume it is cooked sous vide because of that, which I’m not a fan of for steaks, etc. The sides, salad and cocktails were very good too!

Was craving prime rib. I usually only go to Golden Steer. Ever since all the Vegas bloggers have posted about that place, it’s apparently impossible to get reservations up to 90 days out of I used to make reservations in 2 weeks. Anyway, this place had great reviews so we decided to try it out. It didn’t disappoint. Service was super friendly and warm. Prime rib was tender and delicious. I would say this is a close second to Golden Steer. Wines were very reasonably priced. Will absolutely be back.

One of the best prime rib experiences I have ever had. I have wonderful prime rib back at home in Portland, but this might exceed them! I ordered the 10 oz. cut and every bite was tender and flavorful. I will definitely return the next time I come to vegas. Make a reservation though!

Quaint old school Vegas vibe. The service was top notch attentive and friendly. It was my first time I had the special which was a fillet and 4 oz of sea bass. Everything was cooked to perfection and arrived perfectly timed between the app and main.

I’ll return sooner rather than later.

Excellent prime rib restaurant — truly outstanding dining experience.
• Prime Rib: Hands down the best I’ve ever had. I usually order filet mignon, but after friends raved about the prime rib, I had to try it. I’ll never want it anywhere else again.
• Cuts Ordered:
• English Cut (12 oz, medium) — lean, tender, perfectly seasoned, and so delicious I finished every bite.
• South Point Cut (medium-rare) — thick, juicy, and just as flavorful.
• Meal Experience: Generous portions with bread, salad, baked potato, and sautéed mushrooms on the side. Easily more food than I would eat in several days — you will not leave hungry.
• Drinks: Frozen margarita was excellent and complemented the meal perfectly.
• Service: Our server, Amelie, was attentive, friendly, and made the evening extra enjoyable.
• Overall: Best prime rib restaurant I’ve ever visited. Photos show the difference between the English and South Point cuts, though nothing can capture just how incredible the flavor truly was.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Absolutely worth it!

Primarily Prime Rib at Southport Casino – A Step Back in Time**
**Rating: 3.5/5 stars**

Located on the second floor of Southpoint Casino, Primarily Prime Rib offers a nostalgic dining experience that transports you straight back to the 1970s. The restaurant shares an expansive bar area with an adjacent Mexican restaurant, and let me emphasize – make a reservation. This place gets absolutely packed.

The atmosphere is quintessentially retro with its dark dining room and classic red velvet chairs. It’s clear they’ve committed to the vintage aesthetic, and the pricing reflects that era too, which is refreshing in today’s market. The bar is definitely a highlight with incredibly reasonable prices – mixed drinks for $9 and wines for $12 are hard to find anywhere else.

The service operates like a well-choreographed dance, though it moves at a leisurely pace. Different staff members handle drinks, food orders, salads, and bread service. While this system works efficiently, the bread could use some attention – it wasn’t as fresh as expected.

The star of the show, the prime rib, was genuinely surprising and delicious. It arrives with a sauce and isn’t seared in the traditional way, which was unexpected but worked beautifully. The sides were solid – the baked potato was properly hot and the mashed potatoes were luxuriously creamy.

This is definitely a unique dining experience that will appeal to those seeking nostalgia or something different from the typical Las Vegas restaurant scene. The food quality is good and the prices are reasonable, though the slower service and specific ambiance might not suit everyone’s taste. It’s worth trying once, especially if you appreciate vintage dining experiences, but whether it becomes a regular spot will depend on your personal preferences for atmosphere and pacing.

Really great experience that’s not on the strip. First of all, free parking. Second, reasonably priced food served by seasoned staff that makes sure you’re happy. The prime rib was as advertised and really tasty, the salad was fresh, and the sides were excellent. If you’re in Vegas visiting, try something that’s just minutes away from the strip and you’ll be amazed at the value and quality.

Even with most restaurants raising their prices and decreasing portion size, Primarily Prime Rib still offers a very good dining experience for a fair prices. Yes it’s not located on the strip but it’s worth the drive to not pay an arm and a leg. The casino has free parking something that is rare on the strip.

Restaurant is cozy old chic vs modern but clean. Tables are not too close to each other so makes for a more pleasant meal where you are not cramped.

They have different size cuts starting with a 10oz. Prime rib was cooked exactly as ordered and tasted perfectly delicious. Both drinks and dessert are also fairly priced. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly.
