Food amazing location. It’s the better close to the downtown. Employees, friendly excellent music. The food is fantastic. You guys need to try one Brazilian and Portuguese experience.

As a Brazilian, I was looking forward to my meal but I found the meat to be very tough which is not typical of the picanha. The side dishes were tasty.
For dessert, I tried the Romeo and Juliet which was well balanced and not very rich.
The staff was friendly and there are a lot of options for dishes and sandwiches and other Brazilian street foods which make this a great stop. Next door there is a mini grocery store that sells a lot of Brazilian and Portuguese products.
I left at the time when a musician was setting up but it’s nice that they are beginning to provide entertainment as well.
Lastly, there are several TVs in the restaurant inside and it’s very dark. I think customers would be happier with less TVs and more natural lighting. The outside area is pretty but it wasn’t set up for sitting.
I would love to see the quality of the meat improve so this can become one of my favorite spots.

I only have a sample size of 1 visit after having choosing this place on a whim and it was an unfortunately disappointing experience.

We show up what seemed like an empty time. Only a few other tables and the Google page said it was less busy than usual. There was no wait to be seated as well.

Ordering was straightforward but the menu seemed to be outdated with the classic “Brazilian BBQ” buffet on the menu, but when we try to order, apparently that and 1/3 of the other items on the menu were discontinued with no notice until we tried to order them.

Ok then.

We order 2 individual meals and it takes some time for things to get to us. We check a couple of times but eventually we get my plate, and half of my partners – she was missing the main thing of BBQ – the actual meat and food for the “Brazilian Experience” that we ordered that wasn’t the rice and beans.

5, 10, 15, then 20 minutes pass and we’re slowly finishing what we were given as I’m sharing the steak I ordered.

We check multiple times with the staff to just be assured it would be a couple minutes. We felt no sense of urgency or care from them to actually get us our food.

After 30-40 minutes we’re basically finished with no main meal in sight.

It wasn’t until I was ready to get the check that we were informed they’d given her food to a different table and in fact nothing was ready. They asked if we wanted it to go instead. That’s it. A minor “oh yeah, sorry bout it” just seemed like an insult after the effort we did on our part to just politely check where everything was.

Mind you, this wasn’t a busy day. I understand the restaurant life can be chaotic but this wasn’t one of those days.

It is what it is but It left an extremely bad impression of a smaller place which I always root for. The lack of apologies or efforts to make reparations which consisted solely of “do you want it to go?” isn’t a good look.

It’s disappointing because the food *I* was able to have itself was quite solid but the experience around it left us sour. I don’t feel entitled to free things or discounts but we’re dropping $100 on 2 people for a sit-down restaurant, at the very least I expect to eat the food I ordered there at the restaurant.

I likely won’t be coming back since I could just spend like $20 extra dollars and go to a more established place with all the fanfare that just seems like a better use of the time and money.

Best Brazilian Restaurant in Bay Area!!!
The picanha and coxinha were perfect, will definitely come back for the feijoada on weekends! Unlike other places, very fair price for amazing well served dishes. Also great live Brazilian Music and heartwarming service, feels like home

I’m not really sure how to eat the rice plate but. steak was good. I just ended up mixing the potato salad (i think it was that) with the dryed crumbles and pico. Everything was better than I thought it would be.

Good food, but could be better. A noticeable improvement from a past visit last year however. Live music on weekends. Great for groups with advance reservations

It has been much improved inside and I felt like I was at a fancy nice restaurant. Only problem I feel they need to find a better chief. Linguisa sandwich burned, bacalao dry and not much of it. I want them to succeed but food needs to improve. Did not have pop secs (bread) and no butter!!! big NO NO for Portuguese..

Okay so I kind of want a Brazilian so I picked this place out randomly just to go give it a shot really clean restaurant pretty nice wait staff no problems there ordered the ribeye medium and it comes out well done so I sent it back in to get one cooked properly and the maitre d comes back out and wants to argue with me that it is medium so I pulled up the steak guide and showed him when a steak doesn’t have any pink in it it is not medium anyway I just left like I explained to him I don’t want to argue with him or have him explaining to other patrons why I am not happy with the steak because it wasn’t cooked to order it was overdone will not recommend never argue with your customers that’s always a bad look especially when it’s demonstratively not what I ordered good luck if you want to give it a shot oh by the way never order the little shrimp appetizer they used the little tiny fake shrimp in like an empanada it was gross

I use to eat at this store often, however my last experience was not as it use to be. Meat was dry and pricing was to much for what i got. Two slices of picanha 4 PCs costilla 5 slice tomatoes and a Perrier was $24.63 way to expensive. I do. It recommend

The food was good but this would be the last time I would be going there. They assumed I was a DoorDash driver. What a bunch of racist folks.
