We love visiting Sonoita’s wineries and local restaurants. El Campo Cantina is an awesome bar/restaurant that serves amazing pizza. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. Highly recommended if in Sonoita.

Been to El Campo Catina several times. Like the interpretations on ‘traditional ‘ pizza and canzone.
The brisket tacos were great. Nice salad menu. Nice addition to the Sonoita restaurant scene.

We picked this cute place on our Sunday drive, so glad we did !
We almost went to the Brewery across the road but opted for a small and cozy place instead.
The second we walked in the bartender warmly welcomed us and brought water to our table. He explained the menu and drink options. This place is cozy and decorated nicely and sparkling clean . Our food was delicious and my craft IPA from a brewery in Padagonia just down the highway was sooo on point ! Myself being in the beer and hospitality industry gave the rating on a complete spectrum of the essential ingredients that make a fantastic experience!
If you are in the area or just looking for something unique give these guys a try !

The area has needed a good, small local restaurant, and here it is! I had the Mexican Cheese Soup and the Prinsna and they were both brilliant. My new go to for good food and cold beer!!

We’re local and wanted to try the new place out and were pleasantly surprised. Started it with the cheese crisp and then one of their interesting takes on pizza and it was fantastic. The sever, Sage, did an excellent job taking care of us. Only thing I found disappointing was that there is no printed version of the menu available even on request. I understand the world wants to go fully digital but us old farts with bad eyesight appreciate being able to sit down and peruse a hard copy.

We’re in the area for a wine tasting weekend and needed dinner. We got the shrimp cocktail, el rancho salads, and the el campo pinza (pizza). Good food, massive portion sizes on the salads. We were a little surprised because the pizza tasted cinnamony and sweet, but still really good after a full day of road tripping so we finished it all. The chef/owner (super kind guy) came out to explain the pizzas are made with mesquite flour which gives it that sweet cinnamony taste.

Amazing food, non-existent service.

We really wanted to love this place. We’re visiting the area for two weeks and were looking for a regular go-to, but the service here was honestly baffling. We sat in our booth for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged. My wife went up twice to ask for help and was completely ignored. Eventually, I had to go to the bar and get a bit aggressive just to get someone to pay attention to us.
It’s a shame because the artisan pizza and charcuterie board were outstanding—easily 5-star quality. But when you have to fight that hard just to be served at 3:00 PM (when it wasn’t even peak hours), it ruins the experience. We didn’t leave a tip, and we won’t be back during the rest of our trip.

What a bizarre experience we had. The food, when it finally arrived, was ok. Nothing amazing. When we arrived, the single waitress was chatting with some obvious locals and took a few minutes to break off and get us seated. It wasn’t clear if we were supposed to wait for her to come take our order or if we were supposed to order at the bar. After waiting at the bar for a while she finished a different conversation to take our order.

Meanwhile there was a “bartender” in a deep and lively conversation with a patron. We didn’t really think much of it at the time till we had waited 30-40 mins for our app cheese crisp and two pizzas. As the patron at the bar left, the gentleman we took for the bartender said something about getting back to the kitchen.

We were just about to leave when one of the pizza came out, followed by the next pizza two minutes later, and finally a minute or so later by the cheese crisp app.

At this point we were rather annoyed at the wait, when the chatty line cook came out to, we assumed, apologies about the wait or maybe give us a discount. Instead he was confrontational about how long we “actually” waited for food. He tried to explain the pizzas took at least 15 mins in the oven. Which doesn’t really account for the cheese crisp coming out after the pizzas. Or the 40 min wait for the food.

I literally work as a line cook in a restaurant and this was a amazing display of exactly what not to do, every step of the way.

Food was amazing. I couldn’t bother to take a photo, it was too tempting. I’ll be sure to take a few next time. I hope the menu doesn’t change, I hear it does somewhat regularly?

Good atmosphere. Very chill place. Relaxing vibes all the time. The owner and waitress were super nice and attentive. Great conversations to be had if you bother and they’re not crazy busy.

Looking forward to going back!
