In a market such as Orange County, sushi places are a dime a dozen. Great options exist everywhere. So, to find a place that exceeds expectations, is hard.
Sushi@Sushi exceeds expectations. The “mom and pop” vibe is a welcome bonus having gone to so many corporate sushi spots recently. Service is warm. Sushi tastes fresh and you can enjoy the blend of all the flavors.
I highly recommend coming here, especially mid-afternoon.

There was nothing bad about this restaurant but my experience was just fine. Maybe it would have been better if I hadn’t been dining alone because the two other parties clearly on dates received way more service than I did. But the staff was nice, food came out quickly, presentation was pretty. The fish was fresh. I think it could have had a little bit more flavor; I dunno. I was happy enough to be there but not happy enough to want to return.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! We are recently working on eating much healthier and they were able to point out everything to fit in our new nutrition plan without hesitation. Their menu is so varied so to have that helpful and non-judgemental help was extremely helpful. The fish is absolutely delightful and all of their ingredients taste so fresh.

You know what. I love Sushi and I’ve traveled around trying many sushi restaurants trying to find unique quality sushi restaurants that have that flare to make you want to come back again and again. I found that this Sushi restaurant was one of those I would visit again. You know what sets it apart. Is the sushi guys at the sushi bar that welcome you in and make sure to say goodbye on your way out. Not only is there a great greeting, but the service is great too. Even though they are small they pumped out the orders with great speed and finesse. Also, they have very unique sushi rolls that I haven’t seen at most sushi bars. As a sushi enthusiast, it fabulous to find new rolls to try and of course stick with the occasional favorites. Thanks again for the great food and we hope to visit you once again when we are back in town.

Tempura – texture is like for onion rings, unusual. They give about 2 tablespoons of tempura dipping sauce
Spicy Tuna – odd reddish color looked like ground beef with the artificial coloring.
Wasabi – they gave us one for 4 of us, had to beg
Fresh wasabi – they charge $2.50 for a nano portion
SMALL PORTIONS! like a kids meal.
Bento box is not a box not just a square plate, not good presentation.
Only one lady working so service is slow

I can’t believe we found this place! Totally by accident. We got the cherry bomb, albacore with fried onion , angels burrito melts in your mouth! The service is straight to the point the lady on the floor seemed like she was a bit understaffed but damn she hustled and got everybody everything we needed. Even had one of her kids come out and help which I thought was pretty cool because- gotta teach them young! The chefs were there and friendly! I’m definitely coming back.

Finally, I was able to join my friends for dinner here. They’ve been spending their Friday nights here for the last few years. Cozy place run by the owner. Most people are regular visitors and it feels like a nice community. Food, of course, is excellent. Their pickled cucumbers is a discovery for me. Will come back and beg for the recipe.

Always fresh and always willing to customize your order. We ordered the OH BABY ROLL (it has no rice shown on the left with the lightened plate) we also ordered salmon sushi with crab meat instead of rice as well as spicy salmon handrolls with no rice. All was presented amazingly and tasted so fresh! Their Iced green tea is fresh and taste delicious as well! My favorite sushi place for lunch and dinner!
