A great little local grill with delicious food! We were on our way from Charlottesville to Raleigh, NC and needed a late lunch. This place was just a few minutes away and so we decided to try it. It was obvious that this place is a local hub where the owners know most everyone who dimes here. Our cheese burgers, hotdog, and fries were all hot and delicious! With homey+ seasonal decor, this was a lovely lunch stop!

1/5 because i have been here before and was great but today… not so much… biscuits and sausage gravy which sausage apparently didn’t get the invite because there was none.

Home fries were hot tho but would have rather it had all been hot, considering i dont print my own money and have to go work for it, spending hard earned money on cold food is not my ideal of a “good” breakfast.

I decided to approach 81 from North Carolina, going North, by taking a stretch of State Highway 15, a pure, country roadway. The scenes were beautiful! Above and beyond anything one could see from a US major highway! Worth the bit of extra time that my journey took.

CUTE CUTE CUTE inside! I’m so excited to have a sit-in-diner in town! They serve breakfast all day which is perfect. The ladies give you smiles and the food is great! Kids got pancakes and I got a cheeseburger. Price is just right, too. We will be back again and again. Happy to support local business owners!

Loved the atmosphere, it really fits this area. The biscuits were perfect, I had the veggie omelet and my husband had the biscuits and gravy – highly recommend both. Our waitress was attentive and super friendly. It’s a small place but not crowded. We both ate for $25

The food was amazing. As a non pork eater it was tons of options. The service was amazing. You can see the pride the owner takes in her business. But most of all the atomospjere was top notch. From asking a gentleman in the parking lot what’s good on the menu. He should have said family. Everyone was helpful and accommodating. I ended up staying to eat it. I heard a lot about the taters n onions which were cooked perfectly alongside an omelet and fried apples. The owner makes the apples herself peeling them and they taste soooo good. Can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu items.

This is a great place for breakfast or lunch, (closed for supper). The food is great and portion sizes are plentiful; you will not go away hungry. Service is outstanding and the overall dining experience was awesome. Oh by the way, their home made desserts are absolutely delicious!!!!
