Food was super salty, alfredo sauce did not look or taste like alfredo sauce, it had clumps in it…like he tried to thicken it with some type slurry.Fried green tomatoes were super soggy, salty. And the green beans were simply pouredfrom a can a heated up. Horrible, horrible, horrible

The waitress was friendly. The gumbo taste like burnt grease flour and water, no seasoning but shrimp and crawfish was in it.
The waitress asked if everything was okay and I replied no ma’am the gumbo is horrible. She took the cup of gumbo to the back and someone yelled, ‘There’s nothing horrible in here!’ He repeated it and she apologized.
Don’t use the word Nawlins referring to gumbo if you can’t make a roux. Yelling across the dining room only shows how you run your business.
My opinion and we all have one

This no-frills eatery was simple, fast, and good food for the value! Our waitress was sweet and checked on us periodically. Hubby asked about beer or wine, which they have neither. She did say we could bring our own bottle, but we opted for sweet tea. I wanted to try their fried green tomatoes, gumbeaux (their spelling), and cheesy grits – Hubby had their jambalaya. All was good, and we were full when we left!

We will never go here again. Ordered fried green tomatoes and received unseasoned overly greasy tomatoes. Ordered blackened redfish and it too, unseasoned, unblackened with tasteless sauce. Cheese grits were a hard ball and totally inedible. We’re not satisfied, disgusted and disappointed. Tried to call establishment but to no avail, they wouldn’t answer.

This was my second time eating in at N’Awlins Grill. I got the oyster po boy my first time and decided to get the fried oyster basket this time. Food was absolutely delicious and the wait staff is extremely courteous. I will definitely be back the next time i am in Clinton!

If you’re anywhere near Clinton, MS, N’Awlins Grill is the place to be for a hearty Creole feast. There’s no need to wait for a hostess to seat you upon arrival; just find your own spot and relax. Before you even glance at the menu, you’re treated to a delightful surprise: perfectly seasoned potatoes that taste like they’re fresh out of a crawfish boil, setting the tone for the flavorful journey ahead.
I decided to dive into their grilled catfish with a loaded baked potato. The catfish was cooked to perfection, with each bite melting in my mouth while delivering that unmistakable Creole punch. The loaded baked potato was just as indulgent, packed with all the fixings that left me struggling to decide which part I enjoyed more. I wrapped up my meal with a slice of key lime pie. My daughter, always the picky eater, was quite happy with her classic kids’ meal of chicken tenders and fries, proof that their mastery isn’t limited to just Creole staples.
With soulful music filling the air, the vibe at N’Awlins Grill is both comforting and energizing—much like their food. The service was top-notch, quick and friendly, with our piping-hot dishes arriving in no time. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re missing out on a little slice of Louisiana right here in Mississippi. Definitely put N’Awlins Grill on your must-visit list for an amazing dining experience.

I was born in the South, and when I get back there every year or so, I like to head to restaurants with southern food. I was very happy with the N’Awlins Grill! My mama used to make red beans and rice, and I could almost hear her voice as I ate here. Lizzie my server was approachable and energetic, checking in on me often. And I struck up a conversation with the N’Awlins cook of 19 years. Excellent place to go for southern food!
