I wish I could give this place more stars.
What a find! We had an incredible experience at The Crawlspace Gastropub! We tried the short ribs, Crawlburger, fries, North Shore shrimp, and the spam musubi. Every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The short ribs were unbelievably tender, the burger was juicy and delicious, and the shrimp had the perfect kick. The fries were SO good! The atmosphere is cozy and fun, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. This place is a must-visit on Mercer Island. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We wanted something new, something we’ve never tried before, so we stopped in.

The menu is Korean-ized pub food, like bulgogi tacos or burgers, wings, bowls, etc

To be clear, it’s good. It’s definitely worth a visit. I especially liked the house made corn tortillas, better than what I’ve had at most Mexican restaurants in the local area.

Fantastic! Food was heavenly. Wife had the Korean bbq chicken tacos and I had the Korean bbq chicken plate. Very very good.
Ben the bartender was awesome, funny, and made a great old fashioned. Ben had double duty bartending and serving the high tops. He was extremely attentive and never missed a beat.
Appreciated that they had a few runners for the food, water, and cleanup. I also had a nice conversation with Thomas, another server, who was very informative of the history of ‘The Crawlspace’ and it’s food.
Great time. Definitely be back!

Went for a busy event. The place was crowded and the server stretched thin but she was friendly and patient with our big group, itemized bills per person, and checked in with us not just on now orders but how we felt about our orders. Probably some of the best service I’ve had in years!! The fall themed drink special I had (pumpkin pain killer) was delightful and not too strong and the happy hour burger seemed overpriced at $13 but was delicious (a la carte). If I lived closer I’d definitely visit again. My friend had the red sangria and it was fruity and strong. She also got the bread pudding and it was good but the apples were still too crunchy for my taste and the salted caramel ice cream served with it was too salty for us. Everything else was amazing!! There’s a big parking lot, free, and easily accessible, and 2 single-person gender-neutral bathrooms which I thought were also great!

Awesome local spot for Asian-American fusion food, some with a Hawaiian flair. The staff is awesome, the restaurant is clean and tidy, reasonably quiet except around happy hour, and even then it’s a great environment. This is somewhere I would totally take my family to, or a client for a work lunch.
Try the taco flight. It’s absolutely incredible.

Blessed and grateful to reconnect with The Frank Ohana and meet Jason, the owner—a local boy from Hawaii.

This is a must-visit restaurant if you’re ever on Mercer Island! The menu is packed with local kine grindz with a delicious Korean BBQ twist you’ll absolutely love. Their hostess Mirin greeted us with a beautiful smile and aloha. Jason came to our table to check on us and knowing we were locals from Hawaii, he sat down with us to talk stories. Truly a customized experience.

Jason’s story is inspiring—his grandfather founded the original Liliha Bakery, and his uncle opened Yummy’s BBQ on Oʻahu. Truly carrying on a legacy of aloha through food.

Despite improvements in the menu, still can’t recommend. Drinks are very lean for the price, and not stellar. Some dishes served cold based on varied cook time, and prices remain high.

This place is incredible – such a special find! Went here with a couple girlfriends and tried 3 different things (bulgogi dinner, japchae w/chicken, and the garlic buffalo wings) – all were fantastic but especially the japchae!! The staff was super kind and helpful as we debated menu options and the owner checked in on us as well, dropping off the most delicious chocolate dessert as we sat there and continued to chat. Highly recommend!!

Food was good . I give it 4/5 just because it is not my fav cuisine. Service was excellent. Options for me were not a lot. I got the Hawaii chicken. It was tasty and cooked well.

Got there at 6 on a Tuesday, apparently this is karaoke night. Not sure what time that starts but its pretty loud at 6pm

Ordered double cheeseburger, there was kind of mix up and my order went to another table, so my dish came out late. The chef I assume was very apologetic and had good customer service skills.

The burger and fries are excellent! Highly recommend it.
I would definitely come back here but not on Tuesday!

Enjoy!
