Not sure how the reviews are so high. Nice portions yes but the food is not good. No taste – fried rice literally looks like white rice with egg. Scallops were fishy with no seasoning. Very disappointing meal, maybe stay away from the hibachi as the poke reviews seem higher.

The hibachi plates are good. I stopped getting anything else. There are too many hands and not enough hand washing. I love the gentlemen that cooks the plates, he’s nice and he always says hi and the food is always good. I have seen the other employees go from sitting and being on their phones, to making the poke bowls without gloves and without washing their hands. Ive mentioned it and now the cook is the only one that has hands on my order. I DO NOT recommend ordering ahead. If your dealing with customers food, you should wash your hands. That’s the biggest issue I have.

Great portion sizes and deliciously seasoned food. The shrimp + scallops hibachi combination is my favorite and their poke bowls are yummy as well.

Hidden gem for sure!!!! if you want poke bowls this is the place for you. They have so many options to customize your bowl including bases, topping, sauces, garnishes, etc. The staff is super kind and friendly and happy to answer any questions about parts of their menu. The food also comes out SUPER fast. They have plenty of seating if you want to dine in, but I definitely recommend this as a great pick up/to-go option. I would say it’s pretty averagely price for this kind of food. You get a good amount of protein (you can chose 2 or 3 scoops) which I love. I am ngl this place doesn’t look too enticing from the outside but trust me and give it a try!!!

Hot, fresh, healthy tasting, large portions. Got the chicken and steak hibachi to go – comes with miso soup. Also got the shrimp tempura – was crispy and lite, and came with some tempura sweet potatoes. Haven’t tried the bowl but will next time

This is my favorite poke spot in Chapel Hill. I trust the quality and safety of their uncooked items as they are consistently fresh. I appreciate their affordability as they provide healthy fare at reasonable cost. The service is fast and accurate and the staff are all very friendly and kind. I am a regular customer and I recommend this place.

Our poke bowls were super yummy with high quality, fresh ingredients. We had ahi tuna and salmon with their house poke sauce. Took less than 5 minutes for our order which was convenient after grocery shopping next door. (This photo is my half- eaten bowl– they are generous portions.)

I ordered build your own poke Bowl and hibachi beef & shrimp for my husband. Food was good and great portion! Poke bowl is kinda like sushi except it’s in a bowl. Oh and if you are a student make sure you bring your student ID so you can get a 15% discount.

You may order from the menu’s Signature Combination bowls, or you can Build-Your-Own for endless combinations.
Hibachi Poke serves the freshest tasting saltwater fish for it’s “sushi bowls.”
If raw fish is not your thing, then order from their hibachi menu for a hot meal exploding with flavors (spicy, or not). Make sure to have a cup of their miso soup with the freshest, silkiest tofu you can get.
