Been here twice now. Staff is friendly and attentive, though a few only speak Spanish. Got to try free samples of Horchata when we asked what it was. Extremely fresh strawberry milkshakes and horchata. Food takes a while to come out; we come here at eight food arrives at 8:40, and we finish up around nine when the restaurant closes. We’ve had great experiences with the Horchata, Strawberry Milkshake, Fried Chicken, and Carne Asada. Chorizo is hand-made in-house. Language barrier is no issue. This has been my only exposure to Honduran food so I can’t speak to the authenticity, but the food is really, really good. The pico de gallo that comes with the fried chicken is creamy and tangy, balancing out the fried chicken & fried banana chips really well. The horchata is a must-have; nutty, not overly sweet, made from freshly ground tiger nuts with a hint of lime.

We love coming here now that there’s a new waitress, she is the sweetest and so nice. That’s the overall reason. And the food is very good almost authentic Honduran.
Update: the attention and costumer service hasn’t been as great as it used to be before, but we like the pollo con tajadas from here. Other than that we wouldn’t be coming here no more.

I honestly wish I could give this place 0 stars. Please do not come here to eat. I was overcharged for two things off the menu and when I kindly asked if we could go over them, the wife arrived to speak to us as if she was ready to fist fight and the husband cowardly hid behind her. She obviously doesn’t know that regulations state that one should be charged what’s stated on the menu (unless there’s tax). Disgusting behavior that you would only find on “the streets”. She better watch out or she’ll bump into the wrong New Yorker and receive consequences for her animalistic and violent behavior. The food also took over half an hour to arrive this is important considering there were very few people in the restaurant and I ordered what is basically a tortilla with chicken so it’s not complicated to make. Gonna make sure this place is reported for several mishaps. There’s a first for everything.

BEWARE:
-this place will overcharge you small amounts unjustly without stating it on the menu
– the wife of the owner is vile and verbally aggressive even when approached professionally and kindly
– food takes forever and is cold so this place is a nightmare along with the disaster of people who are running it
Don’t provide your business to people who don’t know how to serve people kindly. Save yourself from trouble and go to the restaurants a few blocks away who have delicious cuisine and amicable people running it!

One of my favorite honduran restaurant. Baleadas are my favorite meal and Horchata is delightful. However I think a young lady overcharge me, I just ordered one regular baleada and a small horchata. I felt bad when she told me the final price. The recipet wasn’t right. She first told me one price and then later she came out with another price. I was confused, so I left cause I like this restaurant and I will continue getting food from this place as long as this young lady isn’t there.

I’m Peruvian and this restaurant has the best baldeadas! Just the wait time is a little bothersome but the food totally makes it up for it.
