We ordered 7 ice cream cups through coldstone website to get delivered. I was tracking the driver to see how long they were to arrive , I live in post falls and the driver went all the way to close to Rathdrum and took a good while before our ice creams made it to us! When we opened the bag all of our ice creams were melted . I called coldstone and told them the situation and asked if we can take them back to get replaced. The girl I spoke with she was nice about it and apologized and told me she would let her manager know and she would give me a call. I then received the call about 15 mins later and when I answered she told me who she was and stated she received a message from an employee to call me . Not even a hi this is so and so manger from coldstone she seemed rude and annoyed. I told her my situation she told me once it leaves the store they can’t control what the driver does and just told me to put the ice creams in the freezer for 20 mins and it should look back to normal . Like what????
I was super annoyed I just hung up. It would have been nice if she was nice about it from the beginning and at least said hi this is so and so instead of being annoyed that she had to call me. I’m assuming on her day off idk!
She then sent a message that she would replace” A FEW” of my orders and to contact grub hub.
At this point we are all pretty bummed out about the situation. I added a picture of how one out of 6 came and how another looked AFTER the 20 mins in the freezer as she mentioned . Still melted!
We all had to use bowls. But thank you for the employee working at the store who answered my call and apologized to me and was nice about it which on the other hand the manager even on the text did not even apologize ONCE or even even I spoke with her . Disappointed!

5.27.25: It was my first time visiting this location as I had lunch nearby at Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese and afterwards wanted something sweet. Since it was a nice warm day, ice cream sounded great to cool off. When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. I hadn’t been to a Cold Stone in quite some time but my favorite is the Birthday Cake Remix. It has cake batter ice cream with mix ins of rainbow sprinkles, fudge, and brownie chunks. And of course I got it in a waffle bowl. Love that they make their waffle bowls in-house. They’re thick, sturdy, and really yummy–like a fortune cookie but sweeter! Plus, it’s always fun watching your ice cream being made before you eyes. I’m happy I chose Birthday Cake Remix as it was just as delicious as I remembered.
I didn’t catch the employee’s name, but she was really nice and appeared to be the only one working while I was there. The store was clean and brightly lit and it wasn’t very busy. They have a seasonal special that looks delicious and will likely try that next time (see pic).

Very disappointed in this location. I ordered a special birthday cake for my son with a custom message. The order stated it would be ready at 2PM I showed up at 3PM and it was not ready and the custom message needs to still be put on the cake. I told the lady what the message needed to say and she still managed to mess it up. Thanks

The quickest way to get a one-star rating is to close before your posted hours. Your hours are posted as 9:00 p.m. on both your door and google, so when I drive all the way down to riverstone with my pregnant wife only to have you guys be closed at 8:04 it is unacceptable.

The apple of my pumpkin pie, this velvety smooth ice cream is so delicious, it’s a pumpkin bread ice cream folded in graham cracker, apple pie filling! The other is a coffee espresso ice cream, one of their signature favorites!

This was my first time at cold stone ice cream and to say the least it was a horrible experience. I walked in and asked one question to the worker behind and the counter and immediately was met with horrible attitude. I felt like I was an inconvenience for taking more than 10 seconds to chose my ice cream. After checking out me and my friend got confused on why my smaller sized ice cream was more money than hers which was a bigger size. While looking at the menu to check, the workers said to us that we were obviously talking about them and rudely asked if we needed a receipt even though we repeated we were just looking at menu. They kept rolling their eyes and whispering about me and my friend. Honestly just horrible customer service and which was very avoidable. Unnecessary and unneeded rudeness which really just made me never want to come back.

The best Coldstone around. The service was quick and the ice cream was delicious! There isn’t a ton of seating at Coldstone itself but plenty of seats in Riverstone so not a big deal. I got the chocolate almond milk ice cream which was delicious! Highly recommend this Coldstone, it just hits different than other ones I have been to!
