I stopped at Lake Holt Lakeside Grill on my birthday while driving and looking for a place to have breakfast. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was how lovely and welcoming the people were. It’s a very familiar, cozy place that makes you feel at home right away. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great breakfast and friendly atmosphere.

Found this spot while cruising around looking for a new fishing spot. 20yrs ive lived 15mins away and had never been. Its amazingly clean and offers benches for picnics, a park for the kids. Shady areas. I fell in love. Def recommend.

The drive up to the lake and the grill is picturesque and lovely! Drive slow and enjoy magnificent views of the countryside farms, hay bales, and the calm waters of the lake.
There are picnic tables outside, a lovely bench by the lake, and boats to rent out.
The staff was extremely polite and accommodating. Had the entire place for myself on a week day during lunchtime. Amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed my time here 🙂

Beautiful little place on the lake with a great view. Breakfast was good. Nothing fancy. The people were very friendly. You can rent a kayak or small boat. Also has a boat ramp. Great place to visit.

Old school little restaurant. Usually one older guy taking orders and running the cash register, and one person cooking the orders. A few tables inside and out on the deck facing the lake.
Ordered the cheese steak and onion rings. The food was great and the ambiance as well. Would definitely recommend.

I can’t wait to bring my kids kayaking here. It is a beautiful smaller lake with loads of water to fish and row or troll around. But not so big that there are fast boats passing full speed messing up your line or causing your kayak to tip. The folks who own the grill run this area of the lake like a park. Its beautifully landscaped with rental boats and a pier to fish from if kayak or john isn’t your thing. They rent rods, bait and tackle too. They are soo friendly! And while the food is sold as “simple”, the chicken and turkey meat was actually carved meat and not coldcuts. Their onion rings were perfect (not sweet) and salty and crispy. Their sweet tea was really good too. It was very fresh tasting and not too sweet. I just had such a good time. Oh, and I think they said they are planning a playground and mini golf in the future. I think its already perfect.
