Once upon a time this place was the single best Restaurants in the area. They would always get the orders right. They’re food would ALWAYS be fresh and flavorful. The soft drinks were truly to die for. Family feud or some game show would be on for your entertainment. If they made ANY mistake, they would compensate you with free food. Most food places follow a trend. You go there. You get amazing Customer Service. You fall in love with the food to the point of wanting to go back because you’re addicted to their food. But the more and more you go back, the more the quality of the food diminishes until it becomes a problem. That, or some entitled waitress/waiter is expecting a tip to the point of tip shaming. Not this Burger King.

Then about 2 months ago, this place started heavily going on a decline. The customer service drastically has gone down hill. Where to begin? This one cashier Geneis, comes across very rude with a look in her eyes locked on you that is BEYOND condescending. There’s the Assistant Manager Katie. One day I went to go place my order, and she coldly responded with, “What do you want.” Not a “Hi welcome to Burger King can I take your order” just rudeness. I’m SHOCKED someone like that even IS a manager. I almost confronted them about it on the spot. She also looked at me with those eyes, the same look down on you, condescending eyes.

Let’s next talk about the food quality. Almost EVERY time lately I’ve gone to BK, they get my order wrong. I’ve even ordered in a very SLOW AND STERN tone, nice and clear to make sure they don’t mess it up, and they STILL DO. The fries are always on point but the burgers always taste bland and lifeless UNLESS the Chef Austin is in the Kitchen. Today was the final straw. I made a clear order. The cashier repeated it back. It said ON the wrapping exactly what I ordered. 2 Cheeseburgers Only ketchup, 2 large fries and a drink. I take one bite. THERE WAS MUSTARD on it… I cannot stand Mustard. That was a bad taste that took forever to get out of my mouth. Is it being that selfish to want the order that I pay for to be made the way I order it? I made mention that the only good cook back in the kitchen is Austin. I should not have to scout out when Austin is in the Kitchen just to get a really good meal while every other time it taste like garbage. On a few occasions, the cheese is still cold when I’m given it.

Next up is the TV. Pretty sure they lost the remote or something cause half the time it’s not even on unless you specifically request it.

It doesn’t matter what time of day I come in, it’s the same issue. I’ve just stopped ordering a burger at all AT BURGER KING, because the people in the Kitchen can’t even get it right. At one point I over heard in the kitchen one of the preparation people continuing to get orders wrong to the point of the manager saying “I DONT WANT TO KEEP HAVING TO REMAKE ORDERS!” Not exactly a good look for the business.

It disappoints me greatly I have to go against all the praise I once sang for this place because it was that good. I’ve been VERY passive about marking this place down for their mistakes but enough is enough. It needs to be said. If they improve, I’ll bump up the score but for now this is my 1 star review.

Edit: 2/27/2026 I was informed by a disgruntle employee that the employees in the kitchen that touch your food don’t bother to change gloves after every couple of orders. That is a sanitation issue that the health inspector deserves to know about. This on top of the quality issue I mentioned earlier. The manager Misty was behind my back threatening to ban me for shedding some truth on this place too.

Currently waiting for food used the online app and now more than 3 cars are waiting for food i usually don’t write reviews but the amount of time on waiting is ungodly not even busy at all it gets worse each visit train your people better they don’t know what they are doing

This location has gotten worse, always gotta wait longer, quality of food is worse. Sometimes food isn’t correct. Some staff will leave u waiting, different people everytime u go in like managers maybe hard to work for. Not the best burger king

My boyfriend and I went for a Saturday breakfast at this location around 10:00 a.m. We ordered from the Kiosk in the lobby for dine-in. I ordered the double sausage egg & cheese croissant meal and he ordered a bacon egg & cheese croissant meal. When we received our food, I didn’t receive my double sausage egg & cheese croissant – we got three bacon egg & cheese croissants instead. I apologized for inconveniencing them and also informed the manager that my order was wrong. She never apologized or anything for THEIR mistake. At this time, they were changing over for lunch. I had to wait a few minutes for my correct order. When my order was finally ready, the manager did not own their mistake. I didn’t receive an apology or anything. I understand people make mistakes, but at least own them! We won’t be visiting this location again. Also, you might want to consider cleaning your drink station better or more frequently – gnats were swarming it.

At the Burger King in Kingsport, I ordered a Veggie Burger. I have been vegetarian for years (since I was 10). When I took a bite, it tasted like regular meat. I asked them kindly to remake it. The front cashier kept complaining about how long she had been there. Environment seemed like chaos.

The last 3 visits the burger patties were so dry parts were inedible. Toppings were great but I don’t spend the money just for toppings. I also bought an onion rings/ff mix and a med fry. Both cold (and I don’t wait until I get home to start eating them). I may try a chicken sandwich but I don’t know about my beloved Whopper Jr’s anymore. It seemed like the patty had been microwaved….

All I wanted was a large sprite yet I sat behind 4 cars for 20 minutes at 10:00 PM before I decided to drive off. This would have gotten me in so much trouble when I was working in fast food. Why is this the normal now?
