This place is an ideal spot for brunch. They have ample seating options, both indoors and outdoors. The staff were incredibly friendly.

ambience is inviting and family friendly, however the food was slightly disappointing. had the truffle ricotta and olive appetizer and that was pretty tasty, but the croque monsieur and the recommended cheeseburger with fries were mediocre. hoped for better…

We recently hosted our end-of-summer girls’ party at Hilltop Tavern, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the delicious appetizers and fresh salads to the perfectly cooked fish dishes, every bite was a delight. Though we didn’t order any meat options, the menu had plenty of delicious choices, and everything exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect for our celebration. A huge thank you to our talented neighbors for making our event unforgettable!

Since Hamilton’s is one of my absolute favorite places in Brooklyn, I was really excited to find out that they were opening another sister restaurant that was close to where I live. I got a chance to stop in last weekend for brunch, and I wasn’t surprised that this restaurant is just like Hamilton’s and Alchemy. It has a nice ambiance, and the food and drinks are fabulous. The service here is splendid as well. They have a good-sized menu, which is similar to Hamilton’s, and the prices are reasonable. Hilltop Tavern is a great addition to the Windsor Terrace neighborhood, and I wish the team the best of luck at this location! I will definitely be back in the near future.

This place has an extremely lovely atmosphere but the food was super disappointing. Everything we ordered was drenched in oil and not in a fun way. The arugula squash starter literally tasted like canola oil and nothing else. My raviolis were swimming in oil and had absolutely no flavor. My bf got a burger served on an untoasted and stale bun. I don’t leave reviews often but feel compelled here because literally every part of the meal was bad.

Came here for a family pre-Valentines day dinner and we loved it! It was our first time coming, and we will definitely be back. The food was great, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Everyone working there was welcoming and friendly. We got the wings, the bacon wrapped dates, shrimp with grits, burger, kids grilled cheese, and topped it off with the brownie skillet with ice cream. Oh! The guava lemonade is sooooo good! Can’t wait for our second visit!

My new favorite restaurant in New York! It opened recently and I’ve already been there twice: Once on Valentine’s Day, which was really lovely—despite being super busy, the service was fast and the food was perfect. Also, I am forever grateful for a dedicated mocktail menu, especially in park slope where that feature is surprisingly rare; nearly every place I looked at exclusively had wine or cocktail pairings for V’Day, which is a bit of a bummer if you don’t drink.

The ambiance is warm, inviting, and romantic and the church pews around the outer edges are such a cool touch. The food was fantastic—we had the burrata and little gem salad as starters, the free range chicken au jus and chicken schnitzel as mains, and the skillet brownie and brioche bread pudding for dessert. For drinks, we did a blackberry-like spritzer and raspberry lemonade. Everything was so, so good. I’d go into more detail but I’m not great at articulating specifics on food, so I’ll just summarize the meal and say it was *chef’s kiss* perfect.

I liked it so much that I went back for brunch three days later, which is when I ordered the brioche French toast, which was the most incredible, fluffy French toast I’ve ever had. I’m usually more of a waffle or pancake person, honestly, but I’d choose this over those any day. Our server was really nice and super attentive, and honestly everyone who works there has such good style (not that this would impact my rating, lol, but yknow…just noting that it’s a particularly cool spot). We had the warm caramel “blind date” cake for dessert with ice cream and it was absurdly good.

All in all, 10/10 will come back (probably next week).

Reservation for three on a weeknight, we had only mains and non-alcoholic drinks. All aspects were fine except for an odd exchange with the waiter. I requested a side of bread with my pasta; he responded that “it is not available”. I made it clear that I wasn’t asking for “free” bread but he returned that “we don’t do that here.” This is odd to me because the dinner menu includes burgers, fish tacos, and a chicken sandwich and yet a slice of bread isn’t available for me to eat with my pasta? Really? Two star deduction!
