It’s ok. Perhaps I just got the wrong things. My gf got the panini. It was alright, bread wasn’t really panini bread. I got two wraps a buffalo chicken and chicken carbonara. They were about 60% lettuce and very light on meat so it felt more like a lettuce wrap. The last bites were quite literally only wrap and lettuce. I am local and wanted to see if this place would be on a rotation but unfortunately I have to say it didn’t do anything for me. If you want buffalo chicken, go to ragtime in Arlington (great Buffalo chicken wrap) or fosters grill (exceptional Buffalo chicken sandwich). I also tried calling ahead but couldn’t get through and if you order online there is a service charge even if you pickup (thus why I tried calling ahead). If you want pizza, Andy’s pizza down the road is see my other review pictures, the buffalo wrap is night and day better at Ragtime!!

Hands down the most delicious pizza in the DMV, and that’s coming from someone who’s lived in the area for 12 years.

That said, be mindful of the pricing and double-check your total before paying. I was charged $2.50 per ranch cup, which felt excessive, and was told it’s the owner’s policy. They also encourage cash payments, but there doesn’t appear to be any discount for paying in cash.

Incredible pizza, just wish the pricing and checkout process were more transparent.

Place looks a little run down inside. But let me tell ya. Attitudes were amazing and food was delicious. The Italian dressing on the salad was the best I’ve ever had. They said it was homemade. The pizza and spaghetti were amazing also. Will definitely come back again.

Oh and they gave us a free dessert just cause they knew it was my wedding anniversary. Super nice staff.

Extremely disappointed. I got so excited when I found this pizza place two years ago. I used to order from there very often, the pizza was so delicious. New York style, lots of cheese, lots of toppings, perfect thickness. It was great. I ordered this Deluxe XL pizza Friday night and even paid for extra cheese and this is what they gave me. Literally can’t even believe I paid $35 for this. It’s a shame because it’s really, really hard to find good pizza around here and this was our go-to place. I can’t believe they were OK sending this out the door to a paying customer. I couldn’t even take it back, because they were closed by the time I got my order, but I would have if I had time. I will never order from there again. Save your money. Order from somewhere else. The photos on Yelp are the way they used to make pizza. If you see a photo on there where the pizza looks delicious and cheesy and hot and fresh, it’s not what you get anymore.

Food was delicious and service was warm and welcoming. We ordered a caprese panini, ravioli and the pasta primavera. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Le français était un joli détail!

Stopped in to get a quick bite on a Saturday night. We had the Gyro salad and lasagna. Both were excellent. Salad was very fresh! I would definitely go back!

Edit…Well, went to pay and found out the prices on the menu are not correct, nor were they honored. Still good food, but not that great of a value overall. Not sure I’d go back.

And now…I see the online menu matches the in store menu. I’m guessing we just got ripped off, or they do it to everyone. Bummer.

I had been here once before years ago and based on that I set a low bar. However, the pizza was better than I expected and improved over my last visit. I ordered a personal pizza this time rather than slices so it was fresh and that may have been the difference or could be just different experiences on different visits. NY style pizza, and it was that, no droop in the crust, the amount of cheese and distribution was correct and the cheese was not overly greasy or oily. The sauce was also ok, not too sweet or acidic. The amount of ingredients was also appropriate , see photo. I had pepperoni although I would have taken a bit more on mine. My buddy had 1/2 cheese, 1/2 sausage and the sausage on his was more and had good coverage. I gave it a 6.1 grade and my buddy gave it a 7.8 so some disparity on those. He liked his, and NY style is his jam. I like NY style also, and I liked it, but didn’t feel like it offered anything amazing from a flavor or quality standpoint. Still a solid basic option though. We were the first people of the day. Ceiling lights near the counter were on but all kitchen and dining lights were off and remained off while we were there. He also asked that we pay with the cash rather than with a credit card when I went to pay. Odd request, and a bit of a turn off for me but we obliged and paid cash. No parking, but there are paid garages and paid street parking nearby. Order and pickup at the counter and bus your own table. The place has a cafeteria look and feel to it. All in all, a good basic pie and worth a try.

We had the cutest young waiter tonight. I think it may have been his second night of working because he had to organize and name and quantify every decision made from our 3 family, 11 person party. He really was a nice and kind waiter. We ordered drinks which were all bottled so there was no free refill. We hoped to order pizza by the slice as listed online and on their menu but because of COVID they did not offer pizza by the slice. We regrouped our orders and bought a few pies and other items like ravioli, salads and quesadillas. The food was good. The waiter was really nice. It was my birthday and I got a free dessert. I picked a piece of carrot cake and it was delicious! I shared it with the table and we all agreed the carrot cake was really great. We possibly stayed later than we should have. We left at 1030. I should have looked at their closing time! We were all just talking and enjoying company so we should have checked but they didn’t complain or kick us out!

This was one of the WEIRDEST experiences of my entire life to the point where we questioned if this was apart of a trafficking ring..

We walked in to a very empty restaurant, an older man says hello and we start to order and he says “cash only” so i ask if he can break $100 bill and he said yes. We order 4 slices of pizza and 2 sodas. – $30 total. No idea how considering a slice is $2.50 with an extra topping being $1. He put the $100 in his pocket, gave me $60 back from his wallet, and gave me $10 back from the register he had to unlock.

I don’t question it too much because we are already feeling uneasy. As we finish our pizza another patron walks in, she is not greeted, completely ignored, and the older man is now screaming for another person because he “lost his phone” and the young man comes from the back putting clothes on(??) and tries to take the patrons order but is pulled back and told no and to find the phone. The woman storms out, rightly so because she was ignored completely. we get ready to leave and the older man STOPS US, “please wait a minute i lost my phone”. We have been sitting in the same spot by the door the whole time which he was watching, and so we said “we don’t have it” and left. The pizza was “decent” but the uneasy vibe we were left feeling will not have us coming back or recommending this place.

I’ve tried this restaurant several times. The first time was okay, no real complaints. The second time was not great (the “garlic” bread was toast with butter and not garlic-flavored at all) but I hoped it was just an off day. Third time I submitted an order on the app and it was completely wrong. There doesn’t seem to be enough activity there to justify messing up a salad order. I ordered a Cobb salad with no tomatoes and ranch dressing and got what I think was a Greek salad with tons of tomatoes, olives, and blue cheese dressing. Not sure how that happened, but given my experiences I won’t be going there again.
