If you are in a hurry, this is NOT the place to go. However, if you want authentic, DELICIOUS SOUL food, this IS the place! Fried fish and chicken are on point! The greens, yams, string beans and potato salad taste like grandmom’s. If you go after two, you won’t be able to get the potato salad. Just a heads up! There’s only one waitress and she’s a Senior so don’t expect fast. Friendly, clean and family oriented.

The bacon taste old and extra thick, eggs was good, home fries mushy, and onions and peppers mushy, homes fries not fried and taste OLD! Like refrigerator taste, and toast was also unappetizing. Over all I would give the food a zero if I could! NOT GOOD I TRY TO SUPPORT MY PEOPLE BUT WE NEED TO DO BETTER! GIVE PEOPLE QUALITY FOOD!

Went here just on a whim, look the people here where Awesome, Food was great & fair priced. It’s an AWESOME neighborhood spot, but it’s a tough neighborhood. I will not hesitate to go back here. Please keep in mind it’s a cash spot, & there is a $1 per offense cursing fine (I Love it), but if you want to go chill have a great breakfast with some good people this is it!!!

Prices vary on if they know you or not. Never answer the phone. Lady that takes your order is rude. Food is pretty decent.

The place was ok i didnt like the fact that they put your take out on plates and they charge you a .75 take out fee plus it wasnt even busy and they took long to place your order and to get it. It was that little bit of people and it still took a long time.

Notably expensive (lunch of fried fish, yams and greens was $16.78) and there is rather sporadic answering of the phone. The family is so kind and it is Black-ownwd, however, and this must be taken into account for it’s importance to the community and need to be there. I would recommend a multi-line phone system for them and a website for prices. But they get an A++ for kindness.
