I’ve came to SJ Mineta airport a little early in the morning before my flight and had sometime to have breakfast/lunch. This is the only restaurant that seems to have food that I want to have so I got a table to order some food.
The lady was very attentive and pleasant, I ordered fish and chips. She was nice to fill up my water bottle with ice before I get onto the plane since it must be emptied through security.
The battered fish was crispy and excellent, crispy outside and moist inside, amazing for Airport food. The chips are good too. The coleslaw was so good.
I normally eat fast food when I go through the airport, but this is the first time and it’s quite a surprise.
The prices are not too bad for Airport restaurant compare to fast food chain if you can find one.
I’ll definitely try this restaurant again if I have time to sit down and have lunch or dinner.

We fly out early from San Jose airport and always stop for breakfast at the Gordon Biersch restaurant. We’ve visited this place four times in two years and each time we’ve had good, but simple, breakfasts. We usually order the pancakes but have also tried the simple breakfast and the breakfast burrito. We prefer the pancakes which include a choice of bacon or sausage.
Each of the last three visits our server has been Elisa. She is so friendly, attentive to our coffee cups, and her smile is so genuine. She is the big reason we keep returning to eat there. She deserves recognition as a server who goes above and beyond to make sure the guest are welcome and treated with respect. Thanks, Elisa.

Not bad for an airport restaurant. The Greek yogurt was honey and granola was delicious. I got the breakfast burrito without meat and it was pretty good. The service was great the waitress was very upbeat and helpful.

I hesitated eating here due to the reviews despite having 3 hours to kill. The service was spot on. I was greeted, and my order was taken promptly. My food was delivered quickly, hot, and the quality was much better than a lot of airport food I’ve had. Standard airport prices were expected. I would not hesitate to return.

Most of the staff act and treat customers like they are annoyed that the customers are there, that they are MASSIVELY bored with their jobs, hate their jobs, and think they are above their jobs. They walk about as slow as possible with zero enthusiasm. Every once in a while you run into a pleasant person… they must be unique or new because they are the exception, most definitely not the norm.

And here’s the kicker… it’s most of the restaurant staff at all the Atlanta airport dining spots! They must hire the worst most unmotivated people and then pay them very poorly. ATL is the busiest airport in the world… but probably one of the worst run airports… especially in food and beverage. It’s run as poorly as the city… and the city is a disaster!

Waiting 9 hrs for a flight, so time to kill and stopped here for an order of wings (lemon pepper) and a can of Guinness. Service at my table was good and in observing service to to others also appeared quick and friendly. Beer and wings came quickly. The wings were very tiny and dry. no electrical for charging phones, etc at the tables or even at the bar.

Good service + *
Really poor wings – *
Had Guinness (in can) + *
No electrical anywhere – **

The service was great. The food was actually worse than high school cafeteria food. I am not kidding. It looks delicious and then you eat it and immediately realize you’ve made a mistake … Now to wait for the bill !!! Yikes !!!

Don’t waste your time. Food is all pre-made and they warm everything in the microwave. They have a small but decent selection of beer and if that’s all you need, then you’re fine. My Chicken wrap was meh at best, but would have been good had it been freshly made.

The waiters are nice, the food is pretty good for an airport. Cesar salad the chicken was a little chewy but overall good. High prices are to be expected because it’s an airport but overall it’s good.

I decided to eat breakfast here while waiting on my flight in the San Jose Airport. Service was good and quick. I ordered the breakfast platter. Umm, it was okay. For roughly $13, I got 2 slices of bacon, eggs, sourdough toast and some terrible breakfast potatoes. Everything else was pretty good though. The only other negative is that they only had strawberry jam (which I’m not a fan of).
