Hands down the best barbecue you’ll find around! Golden Hour has become our go-to spot for dinner and lunch when we are in Alliance. All of the meat options are fantastic, our favorites are the brisket, ribs, and sausage. All of the sides are also delicious, but the cornbread casserole is worth a try for sure! They carry Lone Star beer which brings a smile to our faces, and their Banana Pudding is the perfect way to end the meal.

Great place to stop! As you go into the restaurant it is obvious that the owner and employees care about providing atmosphere, cleanliness, and even more great food. Between my husband and myself we tried 4 of the 5 sides, they were scrumptious. The pickles, veggies and peppers added wonderful flavors! But above all the brisket practically melted in my mouth, it was so tender yet amazingly flavorful. If you are in the area try out this restaurant!

Unbelievable barbecue where I didn’t expect it. We were driving through town fixin to settle for fast food but found this instead. The brisket was phenomenal, the sides were all great and they served beer. Add to all of that, an extremely welcoming and helpful staff. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll be sure to come back by and pay them a visit.

Their brisket is my “go to” but I got there too late and they had sold out. Small blessings- I was “forced” to choose a different meat and let me tell you, the RIBS are the best I’ve ever had in my life! Big, meaty, and so flavorful! I’ve never eaten ribs that didn’t need barbecue sauce until now. Life changing! And as always, the cornbread casserole is what carb dreams are made of! You will always get friendly, down to earth service in addition to delicious food here!

Your taste buds are in for a treat!! Oh my goodness, we were craving BBQ (missing TX on our summer road trip), and boy did we hit the jackpot finding Golden Hour!
Perfectly crafted jalepeno cheddar sausage, brisket that falls apart, moist turkey, and incredible burnt ends! Cornbread casserole and mac + cheese rounded out the amazing meats!
