Seafood spot specializing in warm lobster rolls. The rolls are excellent and you can enjoy them outside under a tent. Parking is tight but the quick service and turnover makes it a short wait.

First time visitor here, but not the last time! The food was excellent, nice outdoor eating area , pet friendly and it’s BYOB! If you in the area, you won’t regret the decision to stop in.

Their lobster roll are amazing. It’s completely different than most with no Mayo and only butter. It’s more like eat a lobster than a sub. The truffle fries were a nice compliment to go along. Also, they are BYOB which was nice

Great place on the shoreline for lobster rolls! Definitely try the Old Bay seasoned fries! They also have burgers, chicken strips, salads and more… Family-friendly… This is right next to the causeway which is a beautiful scenic walk!

This is such a cute lil spot in old saybrook near the water. The outdoor seating offers fun board games. The lobster roll was 10/10 the only thing missing was a lemon on the side. The truffle parm fries were an 11/10. The lemonade was also an 11/10. Such a nice summer spot for lunch or early dinner! Free parking is offered. This place is alittle pricey for 3 people our bill was over $100. A lobster roll is almost $30. Definitely recommend the lobster roll though! Will be back again soon!

My family and I were driving around the area where we started looking for somewhere to have lunch. I immediately whipped out my phone and jumped onto Yelp to find some recommendations. Liv’s Shack popped up at the top of the list and we were in the mood for seafood so we agreed to come here. We walked inside to order, and found a seat outside on the deck. After a while, the server came out with our food and delivered it to our table.
I ordered the double sized lobster roll which was overflowing with perfectly cooked lobster (no mayonnaise) and the single portion was noticeably smaller with less lobster meat. The bun was buttered, crispy, and amazing with the lobster. The truffle fries and clam chowder were great too, but the lobster rolls were the real stars. The only con might be the price since it’s definitely the most expensive lobster roll I’ve ever had, but it’s understandable since there aren’t any seafood places in the area with the same quality.

The prices may be a bit steep, but they do have the best hot buttered lobster rolls in Connecticut. Keep in mind it is a small place and there is limited outdoor seating only.

Excellent volume of claws and tail! Back to back visits: Last weekend it had the perfect balance of toasted bun and hot butter. Today, less so (loss of star for inconsistency). Either way, a strong option for lobster rolls in CT.

Good for quick bite. Outdoor bench sittings. Order at the front of the restaurant then go to the backside of the restaurant to sit on outdoor benches. It’s BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze) place. Good place to grab quick lunch. Staffs bring the food outside, service is good & they are friendly. We had Fish taco, Grilled Shrimp taco & lobster bisque soup. All dishes were delicious!
The parking is outside of the restaurant on the street, the Handicap parking sign is confusing (all cars can park there) it’s not easy to access the restaurant from the street, handicap parking should be near the restaurant where there are few spots.

Best dang 1/2 lb lobster roll EVER! Fresh lobster, the quality of the butter was noticeable, and the ratio of lobster to butter was sumptuous. Even the roll quality was grilled to perfection. There are rumors of the best lobster roll on the shore, but the fiddle of gold should be laid at Liv’s feet!
