Must order: Hokkaido milk bread rolls & Korean fried duck leg⭐️
The duck breast was very thick, juicy, and paired really well with the fennel salad on the side.
“the meal ends with a complimentary slice of whatever seasonal fruit is currently at its peak”
We got slices of Shin Li Asian pear, which was the perfect way to close out the meal.
First off, they automatically add a 20% service charge, so I guess that means they don’t have to actually be nice to you. The service was rude from the start. When I ordered, the server said “you have to order everything at once,” not explaining, just attitude. Later, I asked about dessert early and she hit me with a “what?” I literally went silent.
Now the food… straight-up mid.
• Milk bread: cold and hard, why bother.
• Duck leg: honestly good, crispy, flavorful, no complaints here.
• Ugly mushroom pasta: delicious, rich, earthy, easily the best dish.
• Trout: tasted fishy in a bad way, bland, and took forever to come out. For $45, that’s just embarrassing.
• Plum upside-down cake: mild, boring, and not worth the calories.
Also, I was seated at the bar and it was freezing cold the entire time. Between the attitude, the wait, and the mediocre food, this place is all hype and zero warmth, literally and figuratively.
The turnip tots was my favorite dish! Must try before they change the menu; they mentioned that they change it frequently! I’ll definitely be back again.

Food is delicious and freshly prepared to order.
Ambient is worst and romantic, great for date night, couples and occasions.
We ordered the butter lettuce salad, egg pudding and Korean quail for starters. The salad was delicious, pudding really good but the quail was the winner of the 3, smoky, tender and cooked to perfection.
For mains we started with the duck which was super tasty. We finished with the steak and it was incredible. Really good, the winner of the night.
We paired everything with a bottle of Zinfandel from their wine menu. It was probably the best Zinfandel that we’ve had for a while.
For desert, we order the chiffon and we enjoyed every bite of it. Not overly sweet and creamy, just the right amount!
Thank you Pomet!
We came for a birthday and ordered each entree and the bread, pasta, quail from the starters and each had it’s highlights, but again each fell short of a well rounded dish.
As far as the service is concerned, it was mediocre. The staff was eager to take the order, but disappeared after the plates were served. We had to look for people when we needed more water, and not a single person checked to make sure the meal was to our liking. For a restaurant at this price point and caliber, I suppose I expected more.
I think it’s worth a try, but perhaps not a regular occurrence.
