(Takeaway order)I can only imagine this place is under new ownership seeing as the menu is completely different, no onion rings any more etc.
The food:
Chicken burger: Soggy chicken as opposed to crispy Southern Fried – I get that delivered food can get this way, but this was really disappointingly soggy. The bbq sauce on the bacon BBQ chicken burger was awful, it just tasted aniseedy and burnt
Loaded fries:
Peri peri fries were covered in a DUMPING of what tastes like burnt aniseedy Chinese Five Spice and absolutely no effort put toward shaking the fries to spread the seasoning, it was just a pile in the middle of the chips – utterly inedible thanks to the seasoning
Garlic-Parm fries and Garlic & Parmesan chicken tenders – both were absolutely drenched in a dolloping of a kind of cream which was almost solid like milk curd, although the flavour was phenomenal, there was again seemingly no effort to mix this sauce through the chicken or fries.

First time in Mold and stopped here for lunch. Was tucked away off the main street where the market is so get handy.
I had the tuna jacket with a side of slaw and it was great. Other half had the bbq pulled port grilled cheese sandwich and loved it (I had a bite and will be getting that next time).
Service was very friendly – we were treated at the door by Kerry and she was very attentive and helpful. Plates were cleared promptly.
Overall a great spot in Mold!

Went after the Mold food and drink festival as the weather was horrendous. Lovely service and food. Would definitely go back. Might book next time as it was pretty full when we got there (6pm) we had to sit outside but this wasn’t an issue for us as we had a heater.

Exceeded all expectations! The food was delicious, the customer service outstanding – going above and beyond to get our delivery to us and did i mention the food was delicious and piping hot when it arrived! I’d recommend ordering direct from here and not via Uber due to delayed and cancelled deliveries (Ubers fault not the restaurants). Super impressed and will be ordering again for sure. Thank you!

The food was INCREDIBLE! Literally in a food coma now! I tried their Carolina Cow smash burger and it was absolutely delicious, and shared some BBQ chicken tenders and onion rings with my partner. The staff were brilliant, so kind, friendly and attentive. The general atmosphere was great, lovely to sit outside in a buzzing environment with lots of people around. Overall had an absolutely brilliant experience and would recommend to all!

Took a break from shopping for a bite to eat for lunch. What an amazing person you have greeting and serving. Gutted didnt clock her name. Happy, polite, accommodating, nothing was any trouble to her. Kept the Christmas spirit. Loved it

I ordered from The Hungry Cow in Mold this evening at 6:15pm and by 8:40 the order still hadn’t arrived. I called the company at 8pm and the staff member told me that ‘the owner’ will cook our meal and bring it to us themselves. 8:40 arrived and still no food. I called the restaurant again and cancelled my order and the response I received was “its leaving the shop now.” This is absolutely digusting. Safe to say I cancelled the order straight away. You cannot treat customers this way. Would you leave a customer in the restaurant waiting over 2 hours for their food? No you would not. So what makes it acceptable to expect a customer to wait that long if its for delivery? I understand you can be busy but you should NOT accept an order if you cannot deliver in an acceptable time frame. The app gave an ETA of 7:48, which the staff member told me I should not abide by the app, what’s the point in having an app or an ETA if you are going to be an hour over the ETA time. I did not appreciate the excuses and constant passing the book. No trust in this company, do not order from this company, it seems to be a trend by the look of the other negative comments and the arrogant responses to other complaints is abysmal. I look forward to hearing what arrogant and dismissive response i get to this complaint.
