Big breakfast taquitos. Only the beef stew per pound is a bit expensive and wished they had a few tamales on sale. Good sazon flavors.

Review for the food part of the place-
The tortillas are obviously fresh and hot
The food is decent nothing crazy. I’ve had several different options and all have been good , it’s consistent and they fill the tacos up.
The service is hit or miss depending who you get.

We visit here every Sunday
This morning the place is fixed differently and none of the staff are recognizable which means they probably changed ownership

New staff only speaks English and not friendly. I tried ordering in Spanish and the teenagers behind the counter asked what I wanted three times. Obviously they don’t speak English or Spanish or just irresponsible. Did they take the Houston Food Safety course? Probably not because they were touching your food with bare hands

We won’t be going back. No one apologized or took any effort to be responsible. Caters only to Spanish speaking and hard to tell if that even matters

So I walk in at 7:00 am with no one in front of me ( I am Caucasian) and ordered 2 breakfast tacos. The lady said okay and went back to the belt where the tortillas are being made. Two other people walked in after me gave them their order to a another lady and immediately started making their tacos while I am standing there. So I give the lady that told me to wait a minute the benefit of the doubt thinking she was getting my torts hot off the press. As I kept waiting she just looked at me. I walked out. Worse customer service ever. I will take my business to the new place across the street. They are friendly!

Personally, I would not recommend this place. Food was very dry, meat was very chewy and flavorless.

Also be cautious on how much the my charger you. They charged us for 6 tacos de harina but gave us 4 harina and 2 maiz. Definitely not a fan of this place nor the service.

Great breakfast tacos! Tortillas are fresh and made right in front of you, the food is fresh and cooked on-site, and the service is always friendly. So far, I’m a happy camper everytime I’ve been there. Def do recommend!

I tried their barbacoa and its seasoned with a spice I’ve never tasted in any barbacoa I have ever bought. It was just very overpowering and I couldn’t enjoy it. I know we all have different tastes so this was just my opinion. If it’s your first time buying ask for a sample of the meat to see if you like it. I couldn’t eat the food because the taste and after taste was too much. The tortillas were good and soft. And the customer service was great!

One of the BEST tortillerias in town! Corn tortillas smell and taste amazing. The staff there are always helpful, polite and friendly. If you have ever lived in the RGV (or south of the border) you know the difference between real Mexican food and Tex-Mex, this place is the real deal. Their barbacoa is mouthwatering and delicious. Salsas are always fresh, the creamy green one is perfection. They have Mexican cokes and cheeses too!
(Tip: remember to get some limes and cilantro for your tacos 🙂
