Made it to Forest Lake again and wanted to go to Mr. Large. Then I saw the location is called Rubio’s. I read some reviews and figured I’d give it a shot.
Delicious burrito and still very, very large. More meat on a burrito than any other I’ve ever had. I had the carne asada (steak) and it was delicious.
I’ve eaten a lot of burritos. Trust me. Rubios was the best burrito I’ve ever eaten. It’s also the biggest burrito I’ve ever had. I was starving so I finished it, but I’d bet a lot of customers won’t. Lots of everything and it was all delicious.
Keep up the great work Rubio’s! I’ll be back any time I’m in Forest Lake.

My Rodeo Burger was Awesome! The waffle fries hot and seasoned sour cream was on point ! My spouse got the Philly and did not like the meat. She will be trying a burger when we return! Thank you to the cook and the waitstaff!

Delicious food and incredibly friendly staff. They also have a rewards program where you earn $$ off with every purchase you make. The burritos and tacos are served similarly to Chipotle, but they taste much better. The sweet potato waffle fries are to die for – especially if you get them with the Bacon Gazmo burger and let the burger juice drip all over them. I probably eat here 2x/month and have always been super pleased.

My only negative is that I took way too long to try this place!! It’s fantastic!! My burger was perfect! I got the meximelt and it hit the spot! Will definitely be going back! Staff was super friendly and patient! Took me forever to pick something a I wanted one of everything! Everything looked fresh and store was super clean.

This place is a bit eclectic, but in the best way possible. The barbacoa, chicken burrito, and Philly steak sandwich were excellent. The Philly steak sandwich has a decent amount of marinade from the meat, so it probably wouldn’t hold up too well for takeout, but it is definitely worth a try if you are dining in. The seasoning on everything was very impressive and flavorful. A word of warning on the burrito sauce, I thought it was amazing, but it definitely packs a fair amount of heat. Not quite Thai level 10 hot, but it is hotter than sirracha sauce. Overall, this is a wonderful place with fast and fantastic service. If you are looking for some tasty non-chain food, I recommend giving this place a shot!

Hands down the biggest and also the best burrito I’ve ever had, I’m not exaggerating when I say my burrito was 3 pounds! The meat was well marinated, seasoned properly and juicy, there are a ton of fresh and delicious toppings and burrito accoutrements too choose from, a variety of very tasty and fresh made in house salsas and Pico De Gallo too boot! My wife got the California burger and she also said it was very good! I’m seriously so impressed. Thank you so much, I will be telling all my friends and family to come visit here!

This food was absolutely delicious fresh hot and fast. Customer service was nice. You walk in and can watch them make your food if you’re getting tacos, burritos or a bowl. You can pick your own seat to where you want to sit at in the dining area. Good deal for the tacos on Tuesday’s it’s 2$. I will definitely be back to this place
