Cozy, casual, homestyle and roadhouse rustic. The Magic Kitchen is an awesome choice for Thai cuisine. A wide varied menu with a large array of all Thai items with some hard to find items (Jackfruit Sticky Rice for one). You are welcomed to carry in your own alcohol and enjoy at your table, BYOB style. Cash only, no credit or debit. See the complete menu in the pictures in this review. Fish sauce and pepper flakes are available upon request. The service was fast and friendly. Our food was served hot and seasoned well. I had the Thai Green Curry and it was some of the best I have had!Carry out was available and did a brisk business. The restaurant was clean and lit well. All in all I would highly recommend Thai food at The Magic Kitchen. Well done to the staff and crew. KUDOS!!! ️

I think one of the best Thai restaurants anywhere. Dishes aren’t as “oily” as many Thai places. Only accept cash, so be prepared, and it’s a byob restaurant as they do not have a liquor license. They know how to make dishes hot when requested. I always stop when in town! Smaller menu selection, but awesome Thai traditional favorites!

Very authentic foods, been at this location for years and has established return customer base which they know by name. Bring your own liquor!

WOW, unbelievable to be able to BYOB! Too expensive to eat out AND enjoy some wine, but bringing your own? Kept feeling like I was naughty! Food was great, tho atmosphere is lacking comfortable seating. Hard chairs, close together tables, but worth giving a try! Basil chicken is my go to, but long for more basil.

Food was just the right amount of spice and heat. Delicious as always. Our server was amazing. They were extremely crowded and she handled it all with a smile.

Just had the Pad Se Euiy spicy. That was awesome hot. Typically asking for spicy and I get some pathetic American medium heat. This was Thai spicy! Great flavors. The lemongrass soup is aromatic and head clearing.
We ate to-go so atmosphere is a 4.

Very quirky little place. It’s a small house converted to a restaurant. Not a lot of ambiance, but food is wonderful and always comes out piping hot. Reasonable prices, generous servings. Take out is an option, too. They don’t accept credit cards just cash or personal checks.
They don’t sell alcoholic beverages, but you are allowed to bring your own.
Parking lot is small. In pleasant weather there are, often, customers outside waiting for a table, but worth the wait.
One of my favorite places in Springfield!

This place is SUCH a hidden gem in Springfield. Staff is kind and the food is delicious. It’s cash only but you can also BYOB indoors which is super cool, convenient, and cheaper. Love this place
