Its taco bell. But… I will say for a taco bell, the shells of the nachos cheese dorrito taco supreme were crisp. Most taco bells the shells are stale. Place was clean too

We were traveling and came in to grab takeout. Only option to order when we walked in was the kiosk, which was fine and easy to place the order. Beyond that point, the experience just went downhill. Ordered a crunchwrap, a burrito bowl, 2 tacos, and chips and guac. Waited about 35 minutes for our fast food with no acknowledgement or explanation, which was frustrating for a 6 year old that was very patiently waiting for his tacos. When our order finally did get dropped at the counter before the staff member walked quickly away, we didn’t get our drinks with it and had to wait until the next time someone came up to the counter to request our drinks. After this, we got to our car to get back on the road and realized we’d not gotten our chips and had to go back in to get those. The couple in front of us that had to wait even longer for their order also had items missing from their order and had to go back in. Drive through seemed to be moving quickly, so if you do go here, maybe stick to the drive through. Seemed very short staffed. Felt bad for the workers but it was still ridiculous to wait that long for fast food with no explanation or apologies for the excessive wait. Definitely wouldn’t return here based on this experience.

I ordered delivery from the Taco Bell app. I tracked my order as it was on it’s way and noticed the driver stopped at a place way out of the way from my house. Order arrived partially missing, driver probably stole it. Tried contacting support on the TB app and was met with an email response and told to wait. I decided to drive to the store with my receipt and app open. I showed the worker at the counter, a young man I didn’t catch the name of. Anyway, he figured out what I was missing and made the food and gave it to me no issues. HE did a GREAT job, along with the new employee who was with him. Once he gave me my food, he mentioned that apparently I wasn’t supposed to confront the workers at the restaurant and contact Doordash. Guessing his manager told him this to not miss out on profit in the future. That poor worker did what was right and got chewed out for it.
TO THE MANAGER ON DUTY WHO TOLD HIM THIS: You do not need to be in charge. You only cared about having to give out food for free to fix an issue and tried to get me to walk away empty handed with no real solution. If for whatever reason the employee was reprimanded further, you should be ashamed. They did what YOU, THE MANAGER, were supposed to do: take care of the customer.

I love Taco Bell but am disgusted with this restaurant. Every single item in my order was barely room temperature. How does that happen? The only thing that was close to the right temp was the sour cream.

I know it is just Taco Bell but do better, I was cussed at and my food was dropped on the ground and touched the dirty concrete and I was given a busted open cup . She also shut the window on my face and started crying and one other thing my food was still not replaced which is not sanitary. I get that it’s just fast food but you still need to have some customer service. Do better.

Dear Taco Bell Management and Franchise Owners,

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your Effingham, restaurant. My wife and I have been loyal customers for many years to Taco Bell and this community’s restaurant; frequently enjoying the Chili Cheese Burrito, a menu item we’ve appreciated across various locations in Texas, Louisiana, and beyond.

This morning, we attempted to order this burrito, only to find it unavailable via the online ordering system. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were initially informed by a kind and helpful employee and older gentleman, that it was still available despite not being listed digitally. However, when this employee consulted with the General Manager, our experience took a negative turn.

The General Manager, instead of addressing our inquiry professionally, responded from her office with a dismissive and inappropriate tone, placing blame on the online ordering system and DoorDash platforms! Not even, I’m sorry to hear that. Her refusal to engage in a respectful conversation with us, and her lack of introduction, was particularly disappointing. When has it become customary to yell from your office seat at your customer at about 30 feet away.

Furthermore, the quality of the burritos we eventually received was substandard. The shells were old and fragile, crumbling with the first bite. This suggests a potential issue with food freshness and inventory management.

I believe this incident highlights a concerning lack of customer service training and potentially a systemic problem with food quality control. I urge you to address these matters promptly, ensuring that future customers are treated with respect and receive fresh, high-quality food. I trust you will take appropriate action to rectify this situation. If not your restaurant will follow the same factors of most here in Effingham. I’m very saddened by this factor and my experience today. Please, due better in the future!

They got the order wrong. Acted inconvenienced when I asked for sauce packets at the drive through window when they didn’t ask me if I wanted them. Poor customer service. Food is poorly prepared. Worst taco bell I’ve ever been to.
