Flaccid, Doughy, gummy, chewy, almost tough pizza – super disappointing especially for the price ($27 for a 14’). No idea how this place has high ratings which iswhy we decided to try it and why I’m leaving a review so no one else needs to be disappointed like we were… You can tell from the picture the dough is not good. Would have been better off with a cheap pizza like Papa Johns or Dominos. Food wasn’t ready at pick up time, charged $1.50 service fee for whatever reason. But all of that aside, bad pizza dough is bad pizza. Never getting pizza here again.

I just wanted to write a review giving my compliments for the wonderful food today! I had the Margherita Pizza and just a glass of water!
I walked in and the service was awesome, I was immediately seated and helped out swiftly. I had my food in about 10-15ish minutes which is extremely fast!
The pizza was Delicious! I had a conversation with the lady who waited on me and she said the sauce was made in house! The cheese was wonderful and melted and the crust was nice and crispy!
I definitely can recommend this place if you want a good pizza 🙂

First time in! Staff were friendly and helpful, I decided to go basic with the pizza, very good and HOT! Wings were lemon pepper and were seasoned perfectly! Taking the cannoli home. I will be back to try more things. Saw the Alfredo fries on the menu. That will probably be my next visit!

We tried three pizzas and a gyro. The gyro was just meh. Too much bread for the small amount of meat, with very little veggies or sauce. The Margherita pizza was the standout, fresh simple tomato sauce, basil and the moz was very creamy.
The cheese and pepperoni pizzas, on the other hand, were bland—there was almost no flavor beyond the tomato sauce. All the pizzas came undercooked– and yes we know how it’s supposed to be cooked; the dough was soggy and dense, lacking the char and airy, slightly crisp texture you expect, and the centers were doughy rather than soft.
The sauce itself was excellent—simple, salty tomatoes with no sweetness, exactly how I like it.
But $100+ for the meal? not worth it at all.

First off I have to shout out the owner. She was fantastic! She played hostess, waitress and chef with a shortage of workers. Short staffed and the food still came out fabulous. The side salad is a generous portion and all the veggies were crisp. My husband and I shared a sausage pizza, it was very good. The crust was crispy, the sausage fresh ground, and the sauce reminded me of home (NJ). If you’re craving some good ole NY/NJ pizza this is a great spot to go to. Highly recommend. Our first time to try this restaurant, we were not disappointed. The owners and other staff were very attentive and helpful. The fried ravioli for an appetizer was good. The three pizzas we tried were all great (Margherita, Supreme and BBQ Chicken). Crust is good thickness, not too thin and still has a good chewiness. Marinara is slightly sweet the way I like it. Welcoming atmosphere, large dining area with plenty of seating options. Will definitely go back again.

I visited By The Fire pizza for the first time on Saturday and I must say the pizza AND service was top tier. The owner, I’m assuming, was so incredibly sweet and provided amazing customer service. The pizza was delicious! I had never had brick oven pizza before and I must say the pizza was soooo good. We ordered the supreme and the three meats pizza. Although the restaurant is completely out of the way from where we live, we will most definitely make that drive back to eat more pizza! I highly recommend!

First time. Smoked chicken wings in 2 different sauces. Loaded fries. 4 different pizzas: Gyro, Jamaican Jerk, Margherita and Italian sausage. And cannolis. Handmade and delicious. Our server, Ella gave us great recommendations and the owner came out to meet us and was extremely pleasant to talk to and discuss all the homemade ingredients. We will DEFINITELY be back soon. The food is worth the wait for the fresh ingredients.
