Me and the girlfriend were skeptical when we pulled up when driving through. Only to open the door to an amazing homely atmosphere. Amazing down to earth hostess/server. Good home cooking. I never try anything new but opted for I what I want to say was called the dragon burger? Proper home made fries. Nice hearty meal. Everything I wanted it to be.

Update: Visited with a group of 15 today. Out for a Tuesday ride on a gorgeous day. The decision was unanimous… Drifters is a great destination for good food!!!

Emida is a very small town, but this place had a line of cars out front, which is a good sign. Lots of seating and very friendly staff and owner. It was past lunch but I wanted breakfast, which was not a problem. Awesome meal, loved the sausage patty with just the right amount of seasoning and flavor. I’ll stop in again for sure!

Stumbled onto this rustic establishment after the kindness of a stranger in St. Maries said not to waste time eating there, just go a bit further to Emida and you will not be disappointed. He was spot on, the food was fantastic, staff friendly, and it was the best meal of the ride.
