I love the hamburgers. And we always grab a basket (2lbs) of fries anytime we can. Also the lemonade is awesome. Everything is made to order. There is nothing premade or leftover. And the owners are so very nice. I recommend stopping in to check it out.

Went inside to place a to go order. The place is nothing to write home about. We ordered a chicken liver dinner which consisted of livers, fries and a roll. We shared the meal on way home and there was plenty for both of us. The livers were fried just right and were not greasy at all because they cook to order. I noticed the drive through window had vehicles going through the whole time we were waiting. Next time we are in Alma we will be back.

I love a good hole in the wall and was happy to stumble upon this place. The people could not possibly be friendlier. Loved the friend catfish and shrimp. Not at all greasy–nice hot, clean oil. Dine in or pick up from the drive thru window.

My husband loved Carter’s food until yesterday he had shrimp that were soak in grease. He called back to the restaurant to let them know about the food. My husband never asked for free food the owner said that the cook owe him a meal. When my husband when to the restaurant today the owner which I quote is a Christian man told my husband not to come back to his restaurant because he can’t be giving food away. I see so many things wrong with customer service.

Arrogant people running the place. Very old dirty store. Food sits around who knows what walking on it. Won’t be going back.
