The bar and bartender was great. But unfortunately after the group of locals sitting at the bar found out we were from out of town visiting they tried to intimidate us and one guy in a pink salt life shirt kept bumping my friends trying to start a fight. That’s our experience at this old bar full of history pretty sad. And no I’m not from California and my parents do live and own a home here.

Bartender was extremely unprofessional and barely did her job, the bathroom was disgusting. Employee on 7/26/24 hanging out with her friends all night, one of them felt the need to start putting her fingers in peoples mouth at the bar like a child and screaming at people. Got kicked out for telling her friend to stop touching us. Maybe employees should stop getting too drunk and high at work so they can monitor patrons properly as well as themselves. Def worst staff/group I’ve ever seen. Unpleasant atmosphere over all.

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon for a drink. Very cool bar with tons of taxidermy! You can tell how historic it is. Bartender was friendly and made an excellent bloody Mary!
