It’s really nice for a hotel bar. The rooftop patio has great views and the interior has a unique aesthetic.
Good and drinks are good enough. The drinks on the menu are good, but they do not stock enough to make off-menu cocktails.
The patio faces east, so you get better sunrises than sunsets. It’s a good view of the city!
Prices are a little high, but that’s to be expected from a hotel bar

Should probably stop kitchen service if it takes over an hour for cold food to be served to guests. Orders were wrong despite the wait. Embarrassing to bring family in from out of town and “dine” here.

In Charlottesville for my Dr appointment. We always pass it but are never here during the business hours. We were staying over night and very excited for a beautiful day. Called to ask about needing a reservation for today and their hours as well. I was told no reservation needed open at 5. We made sure to be there at 4:45 to get a good seat upon the patio. We were promptly told private event come back at 8ish!! Our whole reason for being early was the view and beautiful warm day. To say the least we were extremely disappointed.

Family of four came in late on a very busy Friday night. The menu is limited but the food was good. The standout of the evening was Eric – waiter, buss service, and liaison to the kitchen staff. He did the work of three people, unrelentingly busy, and both did it extremely well and with an incredibly friendly demeanor. Eric is the hardest working restaurant table staffer I’ve literally ever seen. Unbelievable.

My fiancee and I’s favorite bar in town. The view is incredible, the food is great, and the bartenders are very cool. Very much a Cheers type vibe where you are among friends when you walk in here. I hope they bring back the old hours, day drinking here and looking out over the town is one of the coolest experiences in Cville. Hidden gem for sure.

The type of place where the bartender does last call at 9:45 PM even though they close at midnight because he’s too lazy to put some flavor into their bottom shelf liquor. The only saving grace is the view of the city and the jumbo UNO cards they have to play with. Stay clear.

The hours on Google and on their website are incorrect. We showed up at 1pm on Sunday to find that they are closed. There is no sign or ad stating new hours or whatever what going on. Hours for Saturday and Sunday online say 11am opening, only to be told by staff at the front desk of the hotel that those hours are incorrect. Please update your website and Google listing!
