Was in Baltimore for a show at Creative Alliance (highly recommend checking out Get Mortified — fantastic show!) and stumbled across Pig & Rooster… and wow, what a find.
This is the kind of neighborhood bar you instantly want to make a staple every time you are in the area. Chill vibe, and absolutely phenomenal Detroit style pizza. Our group tried four different pies and every single one knocked it out of the park: crispy edges, great toppings, perfect dough.
The bartender was awesome too, super attentive and even shared a good laugh with me about a couple of the signs around the bar. It made the experience even better.
Highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood, or honestly, even if you are not. Pig & Rooster is worth the detour.

I got the Controversy pizza. It was pretty good but not sure about the soy glaze, however I love pineapple on pizza so I was happy with it overall. My Moscow mule was quite limey and I didn’t test much ginger beer in it. It was difficult to talk there but it’s a bar so that’s normal. Having a convo wasn’t impossible, just needed to talk loudly. I hadn’t been here before but would go back. I can’t think of anything negative to say about the type of place it is. You wanna go somewhere to drink, eat, and watch sports, then it’s your type of place.

My first try of a Detroit style deep dish pizza, and they knocked it out the park. I got the flavor called the controversy, and let me tell you, this was a 5/5. The quality, the taste, and the price point was definitely worth it. I’m very glad I tried something new. They even have arcade games and a nice pub area inside while the pickup window was a smooth transaction. Would come here again. Thanks

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening. The atmosphere was very cool. There’s a chill vibe with several arcade games to play. Everyone in our party ordered a pizza. I ordered the Tavern Pizza. It was delicious. If you like deep dish pizza this this place a try. I will definitely be visiting again in the near future

Always a great time at Pig & Rooster! The beer selection is varied, the pizza is sooo satisfying, and the vibes are impeccable. I also recommend the Caesar salad – it’s got a yummy honey mustard flavor that makes it a delightful departure from your typical bar salad. Go for music trivia on thursdays, it’s a great time!!

Really thought about gatekeeping this place but also will tell anyone and everyone about how awesome it is. The mozzarella sticks have an EPIC cheese pull, the Detroit style pizza is delicious and tbh I have liked everything I’ve had on menu. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere make it a perfect neighborhood bar to meet up with friends or make new ones.

I host a restaurant meetup group around the city and we went here last night. The food was delicious and the service was good! I really liked the atmosphere and the variety of game stations. I’d get food from here again. The mozzarella sticks were probably my favorite, the best I’ve had in Maryland.

Cute place, spacious, gets crowded early evening. Bartender was nice but mainly talked to the older men. Food was good, took home half of it. My drink was poured strong. Reasonable prices. Would go here again.

This is a young atmosphere but this bar is very special and very cool. It has lots of old arcade games in the back that are free by the way wonderful place to do update there’s jinga puzzles original Donkey Kong lots of Street fighter games and more.
By the way you would not think it but this place has the biggest chicken tenders you’ve ever seen they’re served in a pizza Box and they’re really really good especially the honey one.
Overall this place is definitely a find.
