I’ve been here a few times. I love the food. I have gotten the omlette ordered the way I want, and they always accommodate. For lunch one day, I had the meatloaf plate. 2 very big pieces, and there are not many places that can rival my moms meatloaf. Now, was it as good? I’ll let you think on that, the meatloaf was very good. The sides are very delicious. I’d have to say I do usually wait a tad bit longer than I’d expect but to combat that, the food comes out hott ans fresh and they are always slammed at lunch time plus I’m sure they have to go orders and maybe catering. Very good breakfast,lunch spot. Nice and clean facility. I will continue to support this local business.

Went in for a “quick” bite but unfortunately it was a perfect storm situation with the computer system acting up, a new girl learning the computer and the trainer dealing with issues from other patrons. I cant fault them for that based one experience because those things happen. Ended up getting the Bistro BLT. Not bad but I feel there was definitely better items on the menu as i saw the orders other people got. I’ll definitely be going back to try another item.

Bistro 252 is definitely a must visit restaurant in New Bern. The Menu is very unique and encompasses both a southern and Caribbean flare! The rasta pasta is definitely my go to dish the sauce made by the chef is creamy and flavored perfectly! They also offer an assortment of fresh and vegan options! The staff is beyond amazing. 10 out of 10 I recommend!

Turkey and chicken is roasted on-site for their sandwiches. Very tasty! Their homemade potato chips were the best I’ve ever had. We sat in the room off to the side, which was quiet and allowed my friend and I to chat. Great experience. I will be back!

Love that this place is locally owned and uses locally sourced ingredients. The food is phenomenal! We did have to wait a bit because they were out of home fries but the taste more than made up for it. The owner himself who is the chef checked on us multiple times and was very friendly. The only recommendations I would make is using real utensils for your dine in customers as the plastic cutlery currently used is not very strong. Also it was a little chilly in there for me so I had to keep my jacket on. We can’t wait to come back and try Sunday brunch as well as the lunch items.

Very disappointed. Three of us order the same sandwich. My sourdough bread was hard and crunchy.. I don’t know if they toasted it or what? A panini option would have been more upscale .The homemade potato chips were horrible… Dripping with oil, spiced with something like Cajun which I don’t like and so Brown they look burned. The atmosphere was terrible. There were four of us seated at one table.Two of the chairs were facing a wall. Not a lot of other options for four of us. It was also very uncomfortably cold in there. We literally sat in the other room because it was warmer. I’m never going back again.

I stopped in for a takeout order. Had been seeing all the pictures of beautiful dishes on FB and had to try it! Happy to see there were vegetarian options and ordered the oyster mushroom tacos. WOW! They were delicious and the presentation was great. My only dilemma is if I should order these again because I loved them so much… or try another which I’m sure will be equally as good. Excellent and will be returning!!

The food is so delicious, the Rasta Pasta and the Shrimp and Grits are two of my favorites. Their sandwiches are quick and easy for lunch, but I love grabbing Rasta pasta with shrimp any day or time of the week. Customer service is awesome, the young lady who runs the register always has great recommendations.

The food is awesome, Rasta Pasta with 3 choices of Shrimp, Chicken or Salmon. The Bistro 252 Burger is my favorite besides the Rasta Pasta, BEST BURGER in New Bern that I’ve had. Great customer service, awesome Chefs, and the environment is inviting, and a great place to meet & catch up with friends or take your family out for lunch!
