A relatively disappointing Subway. Food is fine, but the guy making my sandwich didn’t appear to know what half meant. I asked for toppings on one half of a foot long or the other and everything was placed on the whole sandwich. I even tried asking in different ways. I was in a hurry, so I just took it, but I’m not likely to return.

This Subway is probably one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The sandwich maker/owner of the establishment had the nastiest attitude. He was mean mugging and seemed to get agitated when I asked about HG2 cups. No wonder this is the only Subway that actually has them! No business for such a crappy attitude. Of course the food was ok, all subways taste the same to me.

Don’t go to this location. They have poor customer service, they don’t bother greeting you when you first come in nor when you’re leaving. This place is unsanitary. There was trash on the floor & tables, along with old pieces of food on tables. They need to learn how to clean. I saw a dead fly sitting in the bacon pan. Picture is attached below. Idk how long it had been sitting there before I went, but that’s disgusting & a health violation. They’re kinda rude too. I only went today because I had a coupon that said buy 2 footlongs for only $12.99, but once I got to the register & went to hand it to the employee, he refused to take it & just said “no coupons accepted”. I wish I would have known that before I went & before my subs were already made. I spent almost double on my food than if I would’ve been able to use the coupon. Why send them out if you’re not gonna honor them?? I’ve only been to this location maybe 2-3 times, but I won’t be going back. The last time I went, probably about a year ago at this point, I ordered a footlong & a 6 inch sub, but got charged for 2 footlongs instead. I wasn’t given a receipt, & so when I called for a refund or at least the other half of my sub, the lady got super rude & nasty with me, saying “you should have your receipt, we always give them out, I can’t do a refund with no receipt” even though she forgot to give it to me. How’s that my fault? She tried to argue on the phone with me saying she gave me my receipt but I know she didn’t bc I didn’t have it. & i usually keep receipts in case something happens. After getting an attitude with me over the phone, she finally just said that I could come back & she’d make me the other half of the footlong instead of a refund, which was fine I guess, but she still had an attitude the whole time she was making it. So just steer clear from this location.

This was my first and last visit to this particular Subway location. I went inside to order my sandwich and clearly saw old and potentially expired vegetable toppings which I pointed out. The female putting the sandwich together barked at me in a language I didn’t understand and fluffed up the vegetables to show me they were “fresh.” They were not, and the only item I could add to my sandwich that looked like it wasn’t spoiled was lettuce. Even then I couldn’t finish it. Do not go to this Subway location, go to the one on Whiskey!

I went in at 10:30 am for an egg white flatbread sandwich. The bread was stale, the vegetables were old (spinach was slimy, lettuce and cucumbers were translucent). Staff literally did not utter a single word to me.
There are other Subways in Aiken, I will go anywhere before I go back there. This is the first review I have ever left. I usually feel like anyone can have a bad day. I just feel like this was a normal day for this particular Subway.

Staff is never friendly, it’s typically a husband/wife duo. Lettuce has been questionably fresh on a couple of occasions. I went in tonight for a foot long Chicken Teriyaki sub and when I was ready to pay, presented my coupon only for the guy to tell me they don’t honor coupons at this location. I paid full price but definitely will not be back. There are too many Subway locations around where they do take coupons and that will treat you with kindness.
