Waited to order in-person, expecting fried rice to be ready-to-order. The hostess told me “7 minutes” for my beef fried rice. I waited 25 minutes for my order. WORSE, I had to pick thru the rice to find any semblance of meat. I came across possibly 10-15 kibbles of “meat.” Great flavor but ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH $20!!! Beef flavored rice is what I got.

The food was delicious but I ordered online. I went to pick-up and there were (8) people waiting for their orders. One person working as cashier and handling the orders. Received my order (20) minutes after promised time. No apology or consideration given, handed me the food and goodbye.
Need more people to work there or revamp their procedures to ensure that orders are delivered as stated.

Had family in town raved about this place at one given time when they first opened and I lived here for about 15 years Ordered and what I got back, I could not believe I got sick off the food and when I called, I literally was told it was something I did the food there is not what it used to be. I recommend no one eats there.

Extremely disappointed with Golden Phoenix, what usually is a wonderful holiday dinner tradition was turned sour. We placed our order early in the morning like always, and when we came to pick it up, there was a disorganized line out the door. People waiting for their orders from over two hours ago, with no system of getting people their food. After waiting a half hour, we left without food because there never seemed to be a point where the employees were actively trying to create order amongst all the patrons, they had one adult and two minors sorting out orders. Despite being pre-ordered and pre-paid – people were told to wait and listen for their number to be shouted. Sad to say unless change occurs with their ordering system, we will not return next holiday season.

Went in to pick up a carry out order and used the restroom while I waited. When I returned to the front to receive my food, the employee handing me my order said, “Next time use less toilet paper.”
This comment was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. If staff are monitoring restroom use that closely, it raises concerns about what other corners may be being watched or cut behind the scenes. Needless to say, I won’t be returning

Flavorless, soulless Chinese food. Seems like food comes frozen or something, but it lacked flavor and portion size. Maybe eating at the restaurant is better, but takeout is a no-go. Will not be returning.

Great food and nice atmosphere. A tad expensive for the amount of food in the combination plates so we shared meals. Very friendly staff that interacted with the kids and taught them hello and good bye in Chinese. We will be back!

This place was great! Our normal Chinese takeout was closed so we tried this place for takeout. The moo shop pork was on point! The Beeg lo mein was great also. I’m not one for seafood, but everyone loved the seafood kow— really reasonable prices and delicious! Will def order again!

This Seafood Wor Ba was expensive and Completely FLAVORLESS…. I had ordered this previously with the exact same woman and she acted as if my English was so incredibly poor that she couldn’t understand me so she hung up on me several times because she doesn’t know the menu. I literally described it to her the way she described it to me and she then acted like I didn’t know what I had eaten before. This place has gone down hill. JUST CLOSE ALREADY. The woman that works here HATES HER LIFE. I asked for chop sticks and she stated “NOT A CHANCE”. She then stated “no matter what you want NOT A CHANCE”. The customer service she provides is best described as CANTANKEROUS. She has an incredibly disgusting attitude but acts COWARDLY as she continues to disrespect you while hiding behind that little barrier. She’s literally begging to be a viral moment. I recorded her atrocious behavior because people like her like to pretend that everyone else is the problem until they are exposed. Another woman gave a review describing this woman as racist. I believe it. I’ve witnessed her treating people differently. I paid $20-30 to throw food in the trash. Don’t waste your time eating here. There are far better places to eat in West Bloomfield. I wish ZERO stars was an option.

There was only one waitress, and very disorganized. Took a long time to get food, and when it arrived, it was cold. Pepper steak was good, but crab rangoon was horrible, chicken lomein ok, and pad see ew over-sauced. Was ok, but wouldn’t recommended and won’t come again unless no other options.
