The portion size of each set meal is too large, but the taste is still online, selling well with both appearance and taste. Very delicious, excellent Chinese cuisine. The food is really amazing! Beautiful in appearance, enticing in aroma, every bite exudes sincerity. We must come again! I am a regular customer, the taste is always so good, and I can eat with peace of mind like in my own kitchen. There are many dishes to choose from, and the taste is particularly delicious. Every time I finish eating, I am extremely satisfied. Highly recommended!

I’m so surprised to find quality Chinese food like this in this area. Their pork dumplings remind me of China town quality dumplings. The real deal kind. My wife thought the steam chicken and broccoli were great. Everything was fresh well made. Picking up the food, I could tell it’s a family business, and everyone was around a table in the back, making good together. The restaurant itself is there for pickups and not eat in. They have plexiglass over everything. Reminds me of places back in Newark but they have it up for other reasons, I’m assuming.

The first time we went to this restaurant the food was fresh and good. Unfortunately we went recently and the chicken in the chicken and broccoli was rotten. They also put way too much cornstarch in their chicken and broccoli. I was very disappointed with my experience. The only plus is that they give you a lot of food for your money.

If you go through my restaurant reviews, you’ll find me consistently complaining about pricing and portions. I work in Chester, so I’m always hunting for pocket-friendly go-to lunch spots.
HHK’s lunch special is UNDER $10. For a generous portion and your choice of a can of soda or soup. It’s 2025, restaurants will charge $3-$5 for a can of soda alone. I usually eat half the lunch special and save the other half for another meal. Food tastes good and the service is always quick and friendly.

Very good food, family run. Been a patron since I was a little kid and I’m creeping up on 50!

Quality American Chinese cuisine! The family or folks that run it are good people, always treat my son kindly and always offering things. I love seeing multi generational workers in family establishments.

Ho Ho Kitchen is a staple of Chester, NJ. I’m beyond grateful that it’s still active and flavorfully on point. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, back when that fancy gym next door was a movie theater. If you’re craving classic Chinese-American food, look no further. My best friend swears by their fried dumplings. My parents swear by the chicken and broccoli and vegetable lo mein. I personally crave more authentic Chinese flavors, so I’m an advocate of all the Szechuan and Mandarin dishes. Support your local mom and pop shops, guys. Panda Express cannot compete with this goodness.

This is pick up only – there’s no seating for dining in. Ho Ho was sold and bought again a couple of years ago, and it sure has changed for the better! The food is fresh, delicious and affordable! The service is attentive and efficient. I highly recommend Ho Ho for a good Chinese take out that won’t break the bank. Thank you Ho Ho

Look, I can’t debate with the comments on these reviews when it comes to Chinese American strip mall food. As a Chinese/Vietnamese immigrant family, we also don’t really even get things like sesame chicken, pork fried rice, etc. I write this review for one reason only, should you want to try it.
For probably a decade, we have called the restaurant for pick-up, and we ask for the following:
“Can we can jumbo shrimp with soft tofu, no vegetables, brown sauce, extra spicy?”. Once they hear this they SHOULD know what you are talking about (our family started this), as we have ordered this many times in the last decade. Oh, and the “extra spicy” is never much spiciness at all, so don’t worry. It just adds flavor.
If folks try it, let me know how it works out.

If you allow for online pre-ordering, don’t just start making it once I get there.
